WWE and AEW One Shots

Matt Jackson

"Addison!" Cody called from the ring, "Will you come out here please?"

My music hit and I walked out on stage as the crowd cheered. Dynamite had just went off the air and the Elite were out in the ring doing their usual interactions with the crowd. I walked down the ramp and hopped up on the apron of the ring.

My boyfriend, Matt Jackson, walked over and sat on the middle rope so that I could get in with ease. I walked over to Cody and crossed my arms over my chest. 

"Are you really still in a bad mood?" Cody asked smiling.

I rolled my eyes and shrugged. I had lost my match earlier tonight, and to make things worse, Matt had pretty much been avoiding me all day. Matt walked over and wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder. 

"Well, I'm glad you at least decided to come out here with us." Cody said before handing the mic to Matt.

Matt released me and took the mic from Cody. I went and stood with Kenny and Nick as Matt stood next to Cody now.

"Addie, I know that I had pretty much been avoiding you today, and that isn't right." Matt said looking at me.

The crowd boo'd as he said this. I chuckled a little bit and gave the crowd an Orange Cassidy thumbs up. Matt walked over to me and took my hand in his and brought me into the middle of the ring. I looked at him confused and tilted my head a little bit.

"There is a reason that I have been avoiding you," Matt said. "I had to have a really important meeting with Cody and Dustin, and after that meeting, I needed to build up some courage."

The crowd started going crazy. My eyes widened a little bit, almost not believing what was coming out of his mouth. Matt reached into the pocket of his AEW jacket and pulled out a small velvet box. I gasped and looked at him.

"Addison Jane Rhodes," Matt said getting down on one knee. "You are the most gorgeous girl that I have seen in my life. Every day that we spend together reminds me of how much I love you. You have made me the happiest man alive, and now I want to make you the happiest woman, as well." 

Matt opened the box to reveal the most gorgeous ring I have ever seen in my life.

"So, Addison Jane..." Matt said smiling up at me. "Will you do me the honor of being my Mrs. Matt?" 

I chuckled a little bit as tears started running down my cheeks. For the first time ever, the AEW crowd was doing the YES chant that Daniel Bryan made so famous. I laughed before nodding my head.

"Oh thank god." Matt said relieved. 

He stood up and kissed me deeply. I put my hands on either side of his face and kissed him back. He pulled away and slipped the ring onto my finger. It fit perfectly. Cody and Dustin came up to hug me tightly. 

Brandy was so excited that she got to plan another wedding now. She hugged me tightly and jumped up and down a little bit. Kenny was the next one to come over and hug me. And finally there was Nick. 

"Welcome to the family, Mrs. Matt." Nick said hugging me. 

I laughed and hugged him back.

"The kids are going to be so excited to learn that I am actually going to be their aunt now." I said looking up at him.

Matt wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed me again as the crowd cheered. Once we all exited the ring and walked backstage, I was greeted by so many people congratulating me. I looked down at my ring and smiled. I was so excited to marry my best friend.
