I grunted in frustration as I hit the mat hard with the palm of my hands. I had been trying to learn a new move for the past 30 minutes but for some reason, I was having a hard time getting it down. Thankfully, I was the only one out at the ring right now. I would be embarrassed if someone saw me failing so hard right now.
I got up off the mat and tried to do the move again, but again failed. I laid flat on my back and sighed loudly as I stared at the ceiling.
"You seem frustrated." A voice said causing me to jump.
I sat up and looked behind me to see Orange Cassidy leaning against the apron of the ring, arms crossing in front of him.
"How long have you been there?" I asked spinning so I was sitting facing him.
"A little while now." Orange said taking his sunglasses off.
His eyes looking into mine as he smirked. I blushed a little bit, not only from embarrassment but also because his eyes were so beautiful.
"Do you want me to help you?" Orange said rolling into the ring.
"I don't really see how you can help me." I said standing up.
Orange stood in front of me looking down at me. I tilted my head a little bit to look up at him. After a few seconds I sighed and nodded. He smiled and motioned for me to try the move again. I did what I was told and ended up landing wrong again, sending me to the ground. I heard Orange chuckle a little bit before he walked over and helped me up.
"You almost have it, you're just twisting the wrong way." He said getting up on the middle rope.
I crossed my arms over my chest and sighed. I've never seen this man do anything other than his sloth style of wrestling, so I was interested to see if he could actually do something. My eyes widened in shock when I saw Orange do the move perfectly. He turned towards me with a smile on his face.
"That was amazing." I said dropping my arms to my side.
"You wanna try it again?" Orange asked motioning to the ropes.
I nodded hesitantly before climbing up on the ropes. Orange stood where my opponent would so that I would have a target to aim for. I flipped on the ropes and landed perfectly on Orange, sending us both to the ground with me straddling his waist.
"I did it!" I said smiling with happiness.
"Told you, you were just turning the wrong way." Orange said chuckling a little bit.
I looked down at him and chuckled, too. I went to get off of him but he placed his hands on my waist to keep me still. I look at him confused with a small blush coming to my face.
"I want to stay like this." Orange said smirking up with me.
I felt the blush get more intense as I looked down at him. Orange sat up quickly and pressed his lips to mine. I hesitated for a second before wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him back. Orange deepened the kiss and pulled me closer to him. I smiled into the kiss and chuckled a little.
"Hey, get a room you two!" I heard someone yell.
We pulled apart and looked over at the stage to see Trent and Chuck standing there, both with smiles on their faces. Orange chuckled and allowed me to get up off him. He stood up and wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Come on," Trent said. "The doors are going to open soon."
The two of them walked backstage. Orange walked over to the ropes and held them open for me to get out. Once we were both out, we walked hand in hand to the gorilla before joining Trent and Chuck backstage.
