"Hey you two, what are you doing?" Soobin asked the two young demons who are currently sitting on the sofa while working on some equations from a purple notebook.
"Math" Taehyun answered without even glancing at him, trying to focus to solve the hard problem that was given to solved.
"I don't really know how to answer this. Should we divide it? WAIT WHAT THE FVCK--- WHY DO WE HAVE TO SOLVE THIS DAMN PROBLEMS! DO THEY THINK WE DON'T HAVE PROBLEMS ON OUR OWN!?" Huening Kai expectedly bursting out in anger after realizing how much mathematics could be the total hindrance to every student's dreams.
Soobin's face turned blank at the sight of the two young demons fighting again over some mathematical equations that they are having a hard time to solve. He looked around to find where y/n is, but all he can see in the living room are these two boys in front of him. "Where's y/n?"
"In her room" Taehyun quickly answered, nervously.
Soobin didn't say any word, instead he started walking upstairs to her room to find out if she was really there. Taehyun and Huening Kai's eyes soon widened at the sight of Soobin making sure about their answer, they soon found themselves running at full speed towards Soobin and blocking his way upstairs to her room. "HA-HA-HA, let's just not disturb her, shall we?"
"Yes master Soobin! You should just help us answer y/n's math homework" Huening Kai said while awkwardly laughing.
Taehyun's eyes widened at what he just heard from Huening Kai. Indeed, he can't really keep his mouth shut. After elbowing him once again, Huening Kai realized what he have done. Too late because Soobin already is already glaring at them.
"Where is she? And why are you answering her homeworks?"
Taehyun just looked down, pretending to not hear anything from him. While Huening Kai was poking Taehyun, begging for some help over how to please this older demon in front of them.
"W-well we kinda begged her to buy us some i-ice cream and in return of that, we answer her math homework" Huening Kai said truthfully, looking all down, not wanting to even meet Soobin's death glare.
Too much to their surprise, they thought he will gonna be bursting out in anger, yelling at them or even throwing punches everywhere. But they looked up at him when he just stood there, being all worried. "It's getting pretty late, where is she now?"
Taehyun and Huening Kai looked at each other, shocked at the reaction he gave them, not really what they expect him to react. Feeling all guilty, Huening Kai suggested, "Should we go outside to find her?"
Soobin looked at them which made them took a step backward at the sudden eye contact. Soon enough, they breathe out a heavy sigh of relief when Soobin just nodded a a response and headed downstairs to the door to walk outside to find y/n. And they soon followed him.
Once they headed outside the house, Soobin noticed that it's now dark outside, and it all made him worry even more. He took a step outside of the gate, but stopped the moment he had stepped onto something that made them looked down.
"what is that?" Huening Kai asked while squinting in confusion, looking at the plastic Taehyun took from the ground.
"Ice creams..." Taehyun answered, holding a cup of ice cream he took inside the plastic.
They all looked at each other, at the sudden realization they all seemed to process. Soobin's hand balled into a fist of mixed anger and worried, he grabbed the plastic away from Taehyun's hand. As he walked again inside the house to get his car keys.
"this is all your fault, morons" he blamed them.
"what!? This wouldn't gonna happen if only you let us to go outside, and just buy ice creams for ourselves!" Huening Kai retorted back as they followed the angry Soobin who's now wearing his jacket and grabbing his car keys on top of the refrigerator.
Soobin didn't say any word, he walked passed them with a black aura surrounding him, as he even bumped onto their shoulders on purpose which made them both fell out of balance. "If there's something bad happened to her.... I swear--"
"why do you fvcking care so much about her!? she's just a damn useless human!---" Taehyun didn't even had the chance to finish what he's about to say when Soobin suddenly stopped walking, turned his back around to face them with his eyes all red in anger which made both gulped in fear
"because i love her..." Soobin's voice cracked that made them both even more shocked.
"i waited for hell knows how long, and i just can't afford to lose her now."
Taehyun and Huening Kai was left speechless to what he said. The way he said it, it was so sincere that even demons like them will pity a worried guy like him.
"Now get your head in the game, we are killing some bunch of stupid maniacs"
