"His wound is not healing..." after what seems like a broken plaque words that kept on repeating itself and echoing along the white stark hallway of the hospital, Huening Kai and Taehyun's mouth were agape as their eyes were filled with confusion.

"b-but why!? He's a demon! His wounds should supposed to heal by itself!" Taehyun stuttered as he panicked when he heard what Yeonjun said, he even refused to believe what he just heard since it is impossible for a demon who died centuries ago to die again for the second time. "He's dying"

Both of their eyebrows frowned as they diverted their eyes up to the older, Huening Kai tried to enlighten the mood by letting out a small chuckle that was obviously faked and forced. "what do you mean dying. Pfft. He's already dead"

but when Yeonjun looked at him directly, particularly straight into his eyes, Huening Kai's smile soon faded as the atmosphere came back to a whole serious silence. Much to their surprise, what Yeonjun said next was beyond their expectations.

"He will be reincarnated" he added with a serious tone that made the both younger ones' eyes squinted in confusion. "what?"

"Demons are supposed to be bad and kill random people in or out of their will. But Soobin.... he's different. He haven't kill anyone for a long time now. He changed" Yeonjun uttered as he looked down and place his fingers under his chin, as if he's thinking something.

Taehyun, on the other hand, was all confused. His mind wasn't able to comprehend things that Yeonjun spoke even the tiniest detail he couldn't even understand. Huening Kai looked down in disbelief and asked,  "does it mean that Soobin will die as a demon again? And will  reborn as a human?"

Yeonjun simply nodded and answered a "Yes"

An uncomfortable silence fell over the three of them, as the two younger demons tried to decipher all the information in their head. Couldn't barely believe what they just heard, Taehyun's mouth agape aiming for a question he badly needed to gain an answer from Yeonjun.

"but-- demons are living eternally,right?" Taehyun asked with the same confuse look on his face that will take time to tame after hearing it all from Yeonjun.

"I'm afraid that Soobin isn't a demon now. Because of his instant change when he met y/n" Yeonjun responded as his eyes couldn't meet the two. The reality that even him was surprised and shocked with his younger brother's sudden change was never really something he expected. To think that Soobin was the spoiled one when they are still humans. To think that Soobin was the one who brutally killed y/n.
