A sudden sense of fear crept up Soobin's spine, paralyzing him completely. With a bated breathe, he read the red letters flashing into the paper Taehyun gave him. The words stung. It stung more than what he ever realized. It brought a sickening feeling brewing inside his stomach and caused his eyes glaze over in fearsome. After years of being in peace, having no anyone to compete with, why does it have to be the time when he finally saw y/n and is currently gaining again her trust?

"Psst Soobin!" Beomgyu's call made Soobin went back to his senses and realized he had been spacing out for a while now that he didn't even noticed that Beomgyu finally went back from buying medicines for y/n.

"My sister is fine now, well hopefully. I also bought ice creams and chips incase she will crave for anything while she's in her period" Beomgyu uttered while shrugging, putting a bunch of plastic containing all the things and foods he bought for y/n on top of the table across him.

"you have enough money to buy all of that?" Soobin asked, eyes squinting in confusion.

Beomgyu diverted his eyes on him, as he flashed an awkward smile while scratching the back of his head, "I took your wallet earlier hehe"

Soobin's face turned blank, although he was expecting it to happen and it doesn't mind him at all since it was all for y/n. But he couldn't help but to curse him mentally, because all this time , Beomgyu was just pretending to be a caring brother when in fact the money that was used for everything was all from Soobin's pocket.

"Anyways, what are you holding? You seemed so scared while reading it" Beomgyu asked rushing towards Soobin as he desperately grabbed the paper from Soobin's hold.

"yeonjun?" He read it out loud, as his eyes squinted in confusion and his head tilted, trying to figure out where he had once heard the familiar name written on the paper.

"Give that to me!" Soobin snatched the paper away from Beomgyu and was about to walk away from him but he stopped mid way when he heard Beomgyu asking a question that made his body froze, "Choi Yeonjun?"

Soobin turned his back around to face him as he cleared his throat nervously before nodding as a response.

"I know that guy! He was the one who helped me find my sister!" Beomgyu excitedly uttered, as his face was all bright and happy, not knowing what the fearful situation they will be facing after knowing that Yeonjun is finally back.

Soobin couldn't help but to held upon curiosity that is now growing inside him. As he badly want to know how did Yeonjun found y/n, how did he met Beomgyu, and if he did found y/n before Soobin found her. "D-did he told you something?"

"Not really. He seemed like a good guy. And if I'm being honest, I want that guy to marry my sister! Not you! BWAHAHAHAHA" Beomgyu said as he bursted out laughing in a very devilish manner, pointing straight into Soobin's face, dissing him.

But he stopped from further laughing when he saw Soobin's eyes starting to be in a red flame, glaring at him with a very deadly way.

"I-i'm just joking, Soobin!" Beomgyu awkwardly laughed as he knew that he was facing his near death once he triggered the deadly demon in front of him.

Soobin calmed down in an instant, turning his back against Beomgyu and heading outside the house. He even heard Beomgyu calling his name and asking if where he's about to go. But he didn't dared to look back, he wants to find Yeonjun as soon as he can because he was for sure that Yeonjun was up to something.

An address was written in the tiniest way of writing on the paper, that it wouldn't be visible in the naked eye of an ordinary person. He found himself in a place where it all started. The place where he once lived with his brother, Yeonjun.

It's been centuries now, the old house they once had in this exact location is clearly been destructed already. It is now an abandoned lot with many trees and plant covering, that he almost didn't recognized the place. However, it's still fresh in his mind. How this place gave so much curse and hatred in him.

"I knew you would come" his body froze at the exact position he was standing at, the familiar voice he never had been able to hear for years now made him shivered, and fear started to crept inside him.

He turned his back to face the guy who just spoke. His mind malfunctioned after seeing that it was none other than the guy he used to be afraid of up until now, although he's expecting him already, he couldn't bare but to cleared his throat out of nervousness.

"Yeonjun..." Soobin called the name of the guy who's now walking towards him, hands inside his pocket maintaining his cool and intimidating posture.

There was nothing but silence in between them, that it started growing an awkward silent atmosphere in the abandoned place. No one dares to speak, they were just looking at each other indifferently. Soobin was looking at him with fear clearly visible in his eyes while Yeonjun was looking at him with a smirk crept on his face. "Been a long time, Soobin"

Soobin felt his hand balding into a fist of anger, terribly shaking as he was controlling himself not to held a fight with him.

"W-why? Why did you have to come back?!" Soobin couldn't control his voice, that he had finally raised it into yell but that didn't scared the hell out of Yeonjun, his lips even curved into a smirk, satisfy that he's seeing him nervous and scared.

"I just want to take back what's mine... as far as I can remember, you only borrowed 'it'" he said, emphasizing the word 'it' that made Soobin felt the grudge and anger bubbling up inside him, as his nails started digging onto his own palm that he didn't noticed that blood started dripping down from it now.

"Especially now that I knew who's actually the villain here" Yeonjun trailed, and stopped when Soobin suddenly appeared in front of him as he grabbed his collar while glaring at him intensely.

Yeonjun didn't even flinched at the sudden movement, he just looked at Soobin with the same smirk he have on his face. "Why wouldn't you just let me be happy!? Why do you always have to steal everything away from me!?"

Yeonjun's smirk started fading, as he clenched his fist in anger and pushed Soobin away from him making Soobin fall flat on the ground. "Lies, Soobin. All you did was lie."

Soobin's hands trembled in anger, as he bit his lower lip trying to calm himself down but no matter how much he tries to calm, it will only result on him wanting to punch Yeonjun straight on his face. However, he can't do that. He knew he will only lose.

"Don't worry. I will fight fairly, not like what you did before, you useless lying bastard"  Yeonjun said, with a calm but authoritative tone. Every words escaping from his mouth were all emphasized as if he badly wants to make Soobin realized what he have done and the mistake he made. The injustice and desperate lie he did just to get y/n before.

"Remember? She was mine. Originally mine before she became yours" Yeonjun added significantly, as he turned his back to face the opposite way and started walking, leaving Soobin speechless.
