Demon's First Kiss || Choi Soobin

36 ; e̶n̶d̶i̶n̶g̶

The scent of grass and the noise coming from every car honking surprised me when I came out of the bus. I saw couples clinging onto each other, holding hands happily, and even smiling crazy like what inlove people always do.

The sun is almost setting down, now that I'm here at the sea side near a park. Ignoring every couples near me who's obviously making me get envious of them because I'm the only one single here.

Like as if I care.

"Should I go to hell? Maybe I'll see Soobin there" I scoffed, laughing lightly because of the thought.

Beomgyu's right. I always talk about Soobin. My day will never end without my mouth saying his name. Like as if he's the only one I'm excited seeing everyday. This what inlove people does, right?

"I like you, Soobin..."

"If you don't comeback... I'll hate you so damn much" I mumbled, as I shifted my eyes to the sun that is now starting to set down.

I know that he's not here. That he's not hearing every words and beg I say.

I never wished of something big, like a big house, money, circle of friends, or beauty. But today, I'm wishing..... can he atleast comeback?

"You know how much I hate it when you hate me" a familiar voice said beside me.

My body froze, and my heart skipped a beat the moment I heard his voice.

Without a second thought, I looked to my left and looked up..... at first impression, I thought this was only a part of my imagination, again. Like I'm hallucinating things again because I miss him so much.

"Soobin..." my mouth agape, nearly in tears seeing the guy I was longing for since then.

He looked down at me, as a smile crept on his handsome face.

"I came back. Don't hate me, please" he pouted, with a very childish tone that I really missed hearing to.

My eyes became all teary, as I felt warm water coming out from it. I'm crying again, but this time, it's over joy and bliss.

"Y-you told me that you like me back! Why are you crying--"

Before Soobin can speak again and worried about why I'm crying, I pulled him into a hug, even tip toing because I can barely reach him. And seconds later, I felt his hands touching my back as if he now finally knew how to hug someone back.

The darkness finally covered the sky, only the light of lamps and dazzle of stars are the only ones who are giving light. Even those couples who are here earlier are now gone.... until only me, Soobin and a few people are the ones left.

"I told you I'll comeback... you just need to trust me" Soobin says.

"I trust you! My trust for you is as high as your height!" I scoffed, that made him laughed and shook his head.

After that small topic, the atmosphere became thinner and thinner, until silence filled the air. For me, being in a silent place is peaceful, but being with Soobin, I think silence is killing me.

So I decided to open another topic,

"Anyways.... when we grew older.... ofcourse I'll die.... will you die too?" I asked, full of curiosity.

And I actually regretted asking it, when he answered,

"No. I'll keep living." Soobin looked down, and I saw how his smile faded and his voice sounded anxious and pain.

"That's the punishment..... I keep living while I witness everyone I love die infront of me."

That must've been so hard for him. Seeing your love ones die, while you continue living in a chastise..... how can he do that?

"Do you want me to kill somebody so that I'll be a demon too? Hehe! I can do that for you!" I offered him, that made him looked at me, and bursted out laughing.

"Pfft. You're morelikely an angel than a demon" he said while reaching his hand on top of my head and messed with it, making me pout.

"Pshh. Bummer."

"Don't worry... if you die, I'll wait for you to live again or who knows? Maybe in our next eternity..." He said, out of nowhere that made my heart beat like crazy, again.

"Really?" I asked, and because of embarrassment that he might see my redden face, I looked down and tried to avoid his gaze.

"Yes. I'll find you." He smiled at me.

So I smiled back at him. Even forcing myself to remember him in my next life.

Our eyes met, and so another unbeatable silence came. I cleared my throat nervously when he suddenly touched my cheeks.

He had never been so close to me like this, well ofcourse except when we first met and when I stole his first kiss.

"And if ever you meet me again.... kiss me. So that the author will entitled it Demon's Second Kiss" (A/N: LMAO HAHAHAHA sorry)

"How about Demon's Third Kiss?" I suggested to him, that made his eyes squinted in confusion.

I shook my head disappointedly, and rolled my eyes because of this slow demon infront of me.

Seeing him all confused, I grabbed that chance to steal a kiss from him again. Rapidly pecking his lips until his eyes became all widened because of what I did.

I was also shocked because of what I did, but pretend to be cool. As I pushed him away and ran away from him as fast as I can.

"Yah! Come here! How about Demon's Fourth Kiss, yeah?!"

I heard him shouted, as I heard fast foot steps coming near me.

and I assume, that was Soobin chasing me because he want his third kiss to happen.
