17 : His Past #3

Days had passed, Soobin never seen y/n elsewhere, it does seems like either she's hiding or can't escape the cage she's pent in.

"Where is she?" Soobin mumbled as he worriedly looked down on the notebook y/n gave her last week.

He looked closely at the notebook, it was just a normal notebook with designs sticked on its' cover.

"Why did she gave me this?"  Soobin muttered while turning every pages of the notebook.

Until he saw some weird drawings stick on it, even some creepy letterings as if she had draw this in fear and with hurry.

Soobin's eyes caught something, the highlighted words in the end made his body froze and automatically dropped the notebook he was holding..

The last words say "Yeonjun keeps hurting me, he won't change. Help me, Soobin"

The words are bigger and the handwriting wasn't that stable, Soobin can tell that y/n was writing this while her hands are trembling in fear.

Soobin didn't had second thought, he quickly ran towards the basement of their house, since that was the place he last saw his brother hiding something from him....

It was the time that I knew, I was too late to save her...

When he reached the basement, his eyes already glued to the blood scattered on the floor, his hands are trembling while opening the door of their basement, that he wished he just didn't opened it.

"S-soobin...." a guy's voice called his name while tears are streaming down his face, blood dripping on his hands.

Soobin saw his brother covered with blood, his hands are shaking while holding a bloody knife. His white shirt that is now covered with reddish liquid.

His body froze, once he saw y/n's body lying on the floor, warm blood coming out from her mouth, and blood dripping out from her waist.

"H-hyung, w-what did you do to her?" The only question Soobin asked because of shock.

"S-soobin, I-i killed her.... I-i killed my girlfriend" Yeonjun said while his voice is trembling, his lower lip nearly shaking in fear. His eyes are all widened, shocked at what he have done.

"I-it was an accident, I-i was just threatening her-----"

"You assh*** what have you done!?" Soobin didn't let him finished, when he grabbed his brother's collar tightly to the point he wasn't that sure if Yeonjun can still breathe.

Yeonjun dropped the knife he was holding and just let Soobin threw his anger upon him.

Soobin pushed Yeonjun away as hard as he can, and looked down just to see y/n's lifeless body lying on the floor.

If only I knew that, that will happen, I should've just pursued my feelings and teach her how to love me back.....

........

The night has came, yet the body was still there, both Soobin and Yeonjun are still on their young age, they don't know what to do because both of them are shock and in fear.

"I-i'm sorry y/n, i'm sorry I didn't saved you" Soobin whispered with guilt while his tears streaming down his cheeks nonstop,

His hands are trembling holding a bottle of sedative-hypnotics in his hands that can detriment his whole body and mind.

He looked at y/n, looking so pale and helpless..... it was the first time Soobin blamed himself even if he's not really the one to blame. it was the first time Soobin cried this much.

The girl he's dreaming of since then, he won't be able to reach it now because she's already dead.

Agony.... that was the first thing he imagined, he imagined y/n escaping from Yeonjun's grasp, escaping from the pent Yeonjun made.

"s-sorry... it's all my fault" Soobin said in a weak tone, before drinking all the sedatives he have in his hands....

The poisonous drug came through out his mind, his nerves until his body became weak. His body collapsed on the floor that is now covered with dry blood.

Before his eyes closed, he saw y/n's face only a meter away from him.... as a tear fell down on his eyes, as he dreamt about the things that will happen if only he got the chance to save her.

A tragic ending happened, but atleast I was able to see her face before I die.... for the last time.
