Izzy's POV
Everything was blurry for the rest of the night, but of course I remember lots of it. Does that make sense? Of course not. Nothing from that night made sense.

Hope leaned over the side of the tower, tears streaking down her face. Her mascara made her look like a demon. I got up from where I lay, and hobbled over to the side of the bell tower. My leg throbbed with pain, and I felt the warm blood dripping down my leg that came from the slash of a knife.

Cates body lay mangled, just a dot from our height. I was just in shock, and no tears came down from my eyes. Not yet.

Sirens began to blare from around me, and everywhere I looked I could see people coming from around the trees. Mothers holding their kids, sisters and brothers holding their cotton candy, and people gasping in fear at the remains of Cate's body. Their carnival day was ruined. A police car came down an icy hill, not caring that there were no roads in this foggy forest. When the officers got out, people began pointing at Cate's body, then up at us.

"HELP!" Hope screamed down. There was no way for us to reach the bottom. Hope had struck the bell, and it fell to the ground, breaking the staircases as it went. It got people to come here though, so maybe it was worth it.

Suddenly, the entire bell tower shifted slightly. Then, it became the leaning tower of pisa, falling away from the police officers... away from safety.

"Oh my god! Help!" Hope screamed out again. But as the tower fell, it stopped right before it hit the ground. I was clinging desperately to the sides, even though they were weak. Now that we were closer to the ground, I could see it so much better.

Her eyes were still open. It was as if she could see the light, but was trying not to go to it. But it was to late anyways.. Cate was dead. A pool of blood was what she lay in. Her leg was bent awkwardly. One single tear slowly made its way to the ground...

A police officer suddenly stepped in front of my view of the body. He told us to stay calm, and that we were going to get out of this alive. I was breathing heavily, and splotches started to attack my eyesight.

"Focus" I told myself. The police officer threw up a rope, and after a few tries, I managed to catch it. He told me to carefully tie the rope to one of the long sides of the tower. He tied the rope onto a near by tree root. He then told me to use the rope as a makeshift zipline, but instead I need to use my hands to slowly get down. I did as he asked.

The height was unbearable. I closed my eyes, and slowling went down. Putting one hand in front of the other, then pulling. Then another hand, then pulling. After awhile I felt my feet touch the ground, and I fell to it happily. But not for long. A doctor rushed over to me, and carried me towards an ambulance. I heard Hope jump to the ground, and police officers question her from behind me. I sat down in the the back of the ambulance, on a stretcher. They didn't let me lie down. They kept on questioning me, and putting some sort of ointment or bandage around my leg every other second. I couldn't answer them because the reality of what had happened finally started to sink in. Tears rolled down my face.

"I need out! Someone let me out so I can find my friends!!" I demanded. Then something else came to mind. That explosion I heard. What if they were involved? Adam and David? I got up from where I sat, and burst out of the ambulance that was still parked in the same spot, and ran to Hope. I felt pain like nothing else, a hot burning sensation that went from my knee and down.

A nurse ran behind me, screaming that I should stop, but I ran to Hope and told her my assumtions. Hope shook her head, sure that they were all right. Were they though. The chatter of people around me kept getting louder, as a nurse pulled me away...
