Hope's POV
With a strong push, someone pushes me against the library wall, and I drop the book I was holding. I find myself looking into Nick's eyes.
"Hey babe" He says with a smirk. I try to wriggle free, but even with one hand pushing me, he's stronger.
"I'm not your babe!" I yell at him. What does he think he's doing. I didn't want him to be embarrassed by me. The thought of him calling me babe made me feel queasy.
"Look, I know we broke up, but whatever! Let's get back together! You're like, the most popular girl at the school, even more popular than some of the highschoolers. So-"
"Oh, so that's why, hm? You're new here, and you want my help. So you can rise to the top. Well, you're not gonna find that here, with me. We, are NOT getting back together!" I state finally, thinking he will move his hand, and forget about me. Instead... he kisses me. "Ew, get off of me" I push him away. He stares at me lips longer, and thrusts me harder into the wall. He glues his body to mine, forcing me to stay in one position.
"I know you still have feelings for me" He sways me from side to side melodically, like I'm drifting in the wind. For a moment, I feel hypnotized, but I snap back into reality.
"Oh, I used to like you, but you ruined that" I can't believe he hasn't gotten it through his head. He's a jerk, and he always will be. Nothing else to it. I manage to detach my body from his, and start to walk through the library book shelves, angry. He charges after me and grabs my wrist. He pushes me onto a library worktable, and pins me down, arms away from each other, on different sides. I try to shake away, but his strong muscles keep me down. He lowers his body to mine, kissing me again, hard. I start to tremble. This isn't happening. It couldn't be happening.
I move my head away from his lips, trying to form the words "stop." It's as if my body is powered off. He grabs my head with one hand, and make's sure it doesn't move away. His lips come towards me again, as I try to scream. I keep my mouth closed, and suck in my lips. He's left kissing me face.
"Awe, poor babies lips are hurting?" He asks in a baby voice, stroking my face.
"Nick, please, stop" I manage. He leans in right to my face, an evil glare appearing.
"Oh, I won't stop. And you will date me. You will do as I say. If you don't, everyone will be lining up by you, getting ready to go crash their own car." As he gives a grin, and a wink, I realize it's game over.
"How do you know about that?" I say with a shaking breath, still trying to get him off of me. He leans in so close, that I can smile his familiar minty breath.
"I have my connections" He whispers in my right ear. I feel a tear run down my face, as his soft lips touch my neck. They slowly go down towards my chest, and his hands massage the skin under my shirt. They slide up towards my bra, and his words echo in my head. You will do as I say...
"Stop, Nick!" I cry.
"Tell me you like it!" He yells.
The words echo again: You will do as I say.
I feel a flood of relief, as Nick's weight disappears. I scramble off the table and fall to the floor. I gasp for air, and try to gather my bearings. I stand up and see Josh and Nick in a full on fist fight. Nick throws a punch, and hits Josh square in the nose. He stumbles back. He has no chance. Nick practically grew up in the gym.
"Get out of here!" Josh yells, as if it's the most obvious statement in the world. Should I just leave him. I should go get a teacher! I began running through the halls of book shelves, and I heard Nick running behind me. I turn around and he's right there, followed by Josh. Suddenly, he reaches for me, as Josh reaches for him. It's almost as if we've formed a train. Then, just my luck, I trip. All three of us go tumbling down, hitting a bookshelf. It falls on all three of us, a shower of books pelting our bodies. Nick's the fastest to recover, pushing with all his might. He gets the bookshelf off of us with his strength, and looks down on me with thirsty eyes. I feel pain all over, and I look and see Josh is passed out. Nick runs forward, and smiles at me. He pushes my hair behind his ears.
"The catch of the day" He mutters, unbuttoning his shirt. He only gets down 2 buttons until Josh gets up and kicks him in the face. He never blacked out. Nice play. Nick holds onto his mouth, as blood drips down. He turns to Josh and wrestles him to the ground with ease. Nick has him pinned, but Josh turns his body, and with a pull away from him, he's free. But Nick still gets up, dodging some of his punches, and hitting him once again in the nose. I couldn't stand by any longer. I sneak up on Nick.
"Hey, asshole" I say, tapping on his shoulder. He turns around, and I let my hand fly with incredible force, slapping him in the cheek. His head moves with the slap, and he backs up. When he moves his hands away from the blow, I see my red hand mark already burnt onto his skin. I feel a pain on my palm also. Nick mutters something under his breath, and runs away. Me and Josh look at each other. He was gone, thanks to him. If Josh hadn't come, Nick would have probably had me stripped to nothing on that table. I owe him big time. I smile at him, because that's all I could manage But he understands.
We know a teacher will be here soon, so we leave quickly out the library back door.
