Hope's POV
So close. Tonight was the night Nick came back. Seeing his face would be the best thing in the world.
I picked up my hair straightener, and stroked it threw my brown locks. I put it down then did my makeup, trying to make myself look as nice as possible. I didn't know how I was going to the airport, but I was gonna find a way.
I looked out my bedroom window. I saw David outside with Izzy, Jullia, Adam, and Monika. They were playing in the snow, outside his house. For some reason, I felt incredibly grown up compared to them. I couldn't tell if it was a pleasant feeling, or a feeling that made me feel dark inside.
"Hope, come down for lunch." My mom yelled. Christmas break had ended a few days ago, and the start of school was sucking for me. Nick was the only thing that made my life better. I really wanted to share my feelings with him, and show the world how much I like him, but I knew it was to much to ask. Nick would never let me...
As I walk downstairs, I realize that there is only one way to get to the airport. By car.

Adam's POV
Izzy was giving me weird stares all day. I was trying to build a snowman with David and Jullia, but I kept on getting the feeling they knew my secret. Everything was so awkward. I decided I needed to talk to Izzy. I went over and tapped her on the shoulder.
"What?" She said
"Look, you haven't told anyone right." I
responded.
"NO OH MY GOD ADAM! I WON'T TELL ANYONE!" Izzy yelled. She then stormed off in the direction of Monika.
So, I went back to building my snowman with David and Jullia.
Izzy's POV
I knew I was good in school. I knew I was taller than most girls. I knew I wasn't fat. I knew It was just after Christmas break. I knew I had a lot of great friends who went to school with me, like David, Monika and Jullia. But why couldn't I come to terms with the fact that I had missed my dad. That even though what he had done to this family was explosive, that I didn't want him to leave again. But... Why. And why was he kissing my mom!? I didn't think she would sink back to him again. I needed answers. I hadn't spoken a word to my father since I first saw him, but he didn't seem to mind. Unfortunately, now was the time to do this.
"Dad." I said, as I walked in to the guest room he was staying in. My mother was fast asleep in her bedroom down the hall. "Why the hell did you come back here. Why did you come back to Elmsville, this stupid town , and KISS MOM AGAIN!" Suddenly all of my anger from my past years with him came pouring out. "YOU LEFT US. YOU CHEATED ON THE MOST WONDERFUL MOM IN THE WORLD. YOU DIDN'T EVEN SAY SORRY. YOU NEVER CARED FOR ME EITHER. ANYTHING I DID WAS A MISTAKE TO YOU!!!! YOU ARE A TERRIBLE PERSON, AND I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN!" I screamed. It felt so good to get it out. But my dads reaction was not what I expected. A tear fell from his eye, and he shut the door on me. But not a slam. Just... A quite, solemn click of the door.
Then, my phone went:
*ding*
I reached for my pocket, and opened up my phone to find a text from an unknown number.
UNKNOWN: Awe, congrats Izzy. Today, u actually saw your dads face, and not the back of his hand- 236
"What the-" I whispered to myself.

Hope's POV
"Honey, really... a B+" My Mom said. "You can do better than that!"
"Yes, I know this isn't my best work, but I really enjoyed writing it." I said
"That's great. Maybe next time, you can do both. Like the work, and do good on the work." My Mom said, marching off, very unhappy. That gave me the courage to do what I needed to next. I waited tell my moms friends came over, and then I left out the back door, while she was distracted. I made sure I had the car keys. I climbed into my dads Lamborghini, and started up the engine. I made sure the windows were hard to see through. Nick taught me how to drive a few vehicles on his farm, I could totally do this. But as I pulled out into the evening sky, I prayed that I would make it to the airport alive.
