Hope's POV
The minute the blizzard started, I knew something bad was bound to happen. Taking my dad's car wasn't exactly a smart idea, but I never realized it till now.
"YOU'RE ONLY THIRTEEN" I thought to myself. The blizzard was making driving even more impossible then it currently was. Luckily, Nick taught her how to drive a few different vehicles on his farm.
Nick.
I had to remember him. He was the reason I was driving right now. "Im driving to the airport to see him, and I won't regret it" I tried to tell myself. But then, everything went wrong. I started to turn, but it was way to sharp. I got caught on the ice, and the car started to spin out of control.
"NOOOO! SOMEONE HELP" I screamed, through teary eyes. I slammed my foot on the break. Obviously I didn't know that much about cars, because that seemed to make me slip even farther, and before I knew it I was off the road and going downhill.
Straight for a tree.

Izzy's POV
As I stared into the night sky through my bedroom window, I tried to forget everything that sucked in my past. I needed to forget. Now. The text from "236" didn't help. Somehow, this mysterious person knew what my father did to me, and if this person told anyone, my father would be taken from me. From mom. I didn't love him at all, but I didn't totally hate him. And my mother would have a heart attack without him here. For some reason, she never stuck up for me.
I didn't feel safe in my own home anymore. I decided to sneak out my window, and walk to Jullia's house and stay there for the night.
In a matter of seconds, I find myself in this creepy forest again, the one that I always have to walk to if I want to get to Jullia's house. I need to get my mind off of the darkness, and the intimadating trees. There is only one way to really do that. So, I allow myself to think of the past for a few minutes, just tell I get to Jullia's house.
The first thing that comes to mind is Adam. The great months me and him shared together. They were magical. Adam was every girls dream. He was romantic, tall, shy but in a cute way, and... He never kept any secrets, everything was honest with him. But... That one secret he kept changed our entire relationship....
I remember our first date:
"Hey" Adam said, as I walked in the restaurant and took a seat across from him.
"Hi" I replied smiling into his beautiful green eyes.
"I really was looking forward to this night" He said. "You make me so happy Izzy, and you're the one thing that makes me forget about my parents, and how they want me to be Mr.Perfect."
"Well, Adam, you're the most amazing guy I have ever dated. I'd do anything for you." Then I kissed him hard and passionately on the lips. When I pulled away, there was something in Adam's eyes that were unsettling. Uncertainty, confusion, or maybe even sadness. I couldn't quite put tabs on what it was. But, for the rest of the night, Adam was not the same.
Suddenly, I find myself back in the forest. I needed to stop having flashbacks. They hurt to much.
*snap*
Goes the familiar sound of a twig breaking in the distance. I decided it would be best if I ran to Jullia's house.
*
"What's the matter" Jullia says to me. I've arrived at her house, and as usual her parents let me stay. Jullia's truely my best friend. She has always been there for me.
"I'm just thinking of Adam." I said. "You know, our break up."
"YA that must of hurt. You really liked him!" Jullia said. " Anyways, what's that big secret he's been trying to keep since he called it quits?"
"Jullia, I really shouldn't say!"
"Oh, come on! Your secret is safe with me!" She said.
"Well, I feel like my secrets are never safe anymore" I said quietly.
"What! Why!?"
"Well, someone by the name "236" texted me. It was an anonymous number. This person seemed to know something really personal about me, that I haven't told anyone. I tried to text them back, but it wouldn't let me. It said "you can't send this text to that number" so, ya. I feel like someone is always watching" I whispered.
"We need to find out who this person is!" Jullia yelled, outraged! Really outraged.
"No. This isn't your fight." And with that, I went to sleep. I heard Jullia shuffle around some more in her bed, as if she had something to add to the conversation, but she was afraid to say it. But it didn't last long, because eventually she dozed off as well.
*
When I woke up in the morning, Jullia was on the phone across the hall.
I peeked my head out and listened to her conversation.
"I know, hilarious right!" Jullia said, super-girly.
Then someone was talking on the other side of the line. All I heard was a muffled voice.
"Bye. I can't wait to see you." Jullia said all flirty.
She turned around and came down the hall. I quickly jumped back into bed.
*
The next day at school was one of the weirdest days of my life. Hope had bruises on her head, and scratches on her forehead and arms . She looked in pain. David looked like he got no sleep. Adam looked worried. And I was in for an interesting treat.
I was going to my locker when I saw Jullia stride by me with complete confidence. She was heading straight for a guy named Josh. Josh was the cool kid, but he was also a player and sometimes a douche. But, nonetheless, Jullia went up to him and hugged him. Then, Josh shrugged her off and started to walk towards me.
"Hey, uh, Izzy" he said. "Look, I've been wanting to tell you this for awhile now, I just haven't worked up the courage. I, uh...Izzy, I really like you." Then Josh proceeded to say the things he says to all girls before he gets turned down by them. Stuff like "you're beautiful" and "I want to be with you forever."
"Josh that's really sweet, but." Then, I found myself struggling. I needed to forget about Adam and move on. And, all of the sudden, Josh didn't seem so bad. "Go on"
"I was wondering if you wanted to go out?" He said, looking at his feet. His face was rose red.
"Yes" I blurted out. He smiled, then hugged me. He then went to his class.
Across the hall, I saw Jullia staring at me with pure hatred, and sadness. She stormed around the corner. Crap. I might've just ruined something with my best friend.
*DING*
Goes my phone.
I get it out of my pocket, then I look at the text with terror on my face. I look around, but see no one.
The text says:
Unknown: Good job Izzy. How could u not realize ur best friend was in love with him. Poor Jullia. Guess u though that phone call earlier was just her ordering pizza ;) - 236
