Niall and Harry agreed that they would go to Niall's house and then drive to school together the next day. There was still an awkward tension between them, the two were holding themselves back from falling back into their friendship.
It was sad, really. Louis felt bad for stealing Niall's only friend and wanted to distance himself from Harry so that everything would just go back to normal, but he couldn't.
Harry has become his drug, he's become addicted and he wasn't planning on breaking this habit any time soon.
Louis knew that he had a girlfriend, he knew that Eleanor was an important part of his life, that he needed her because she's just always been there for him.
But maybe their chapter was over. Louis liked Eleanor, he truly did. He loved her. Just not like that.
Perhaps he never really did loved her in that way. She was just always the person who showed him affection when he needed it, Eleanor was by his side every minute of his life.
Now that Louis was thinking about it, it was all so very obvious. He never liked the way her lips pressed against his own, her hand felt wrong and her eyes never seemed to make his breath hitch.
He was fooling himself, that was it. Sure, there was something between them, he liked seeing her and spending time with her.
But it all felt wrong at some point.
Maybe he'd talk to Eleanor about it. Louis was sure she will understand. She's an understanding person, empathy was something that she always had.
He was going to spend the day with Eleanor and Liam, as he has pretty much shut them out over the last few weeks.
Now he was sitting in his last class, history, and couldn't keep his eyes off of the clock that was hanging above the door. Ten seconds left and he was off.
He didn't know what the day would be like. With Harry, he wouldn't have thought about it all, with Harry it was all fine. The silence was comforting and their random stories were things he adored.
Instead, his mind wandered off to tomorrow and the time he was going to spend with Harry. His sisters loved him and to be quite honest, he couldn't blame them.
The bell rang and he quickly pushed all of his books into his bag, slinging it over his shoulder and saying a quick goodbye to the teacher like the polite boy he was.
As he made his way to the parking lot of the school, the halls were beginning to fill with students and Louis was able to spot a certain tall, curly haired lad who he had learned to love with all of his flaws.
"Harry!" He yelled and felt way too many eyes for his likings on him and ducked his hand, hoping that Harry had heard him and would just turn around.
Luckily he did and his face immediately lightened up as soon as the two made eye contact.
"Louis!" He yelled back and now the eyes were on him, which made him duck his head as well. "Damnit" Harry cursed under his breath and turned around to Niall, saying something that Louis couldn't hear.
He did see the disappointment that was starting to spread across his face, his eyes were dull and he just looked ... sad.
Louis sighed when someone walked past him and hit his shoulder as they did so. "Sorry!" That someone yelled to which Louis only rolled his eyes.
Harry made his way to Louis and wrapped his arms around the smaller lad, holding him close and enjoying the warmth that he radiated. Louis felt like home.
"Eleanor thought we were dating" He mumbled and closed his eyes, nuzzling his face deeper into Harry's chest. Harry tensed, which made Louis furrow his brow and look up at him in confusion.
