Smile for me ☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎☯︎︎ Giyuu and I have been together since we were little I've seen all his heart ships up close, we've learned to care for each other that's why when he's gone on missions I feel very worried and almost a sick sort of feeling, it's hard to explain. We write to each other when we are not on the same mission when we rest.
Right now I'm at the butterfly estate being taken care of, on my last mission I shattered my right leg and I can't walk for a couple of months. Shinobu would come in sometimes and talk to me it gets lonely just sitting here all day. One of the triplets came into my room and handed me a letter I think it's from giyuu and when I opened the letter it confirmed it the handwriting I knew so well warmed my heart and I didn't know. I held the letter tight as I read it
"Hey y/n how's your leg doing, I hope you're ok I'm coming back soon by the time this letter gets to you I may be only minutes away, I'll see you soon I miss you" after I read that my smile becomes very wide the letter is short but that's ok we talk better in person anyway. At that moment I saw Shinobu standing in the doorway
"What are you smiling at" I folder up my letter
"Nothing" she started to walk up to me
"What's that you've been getting lots of letters lately I've tried not to be nosey and look at them"
"They're nothing Shinobu leave it" she shrugged her shoulders and sighed
"I try... Well he's coming back very soon" I look at her in shock she chuckles
"You did read them didn't you" I take a sigh
"Yep sorry y/n but I was just too curious, he totally likes you" I look at her in confusion "you can't see it, he always says he misses you and asked how you're doing, "
"Shinobu that's just being nice I ask him how he is and that I miss him"
"Whatever if you can't see it then ill be telling you I told you so when he confesses" I sigh and shake my head she left the room, I started to think of it "ooh speak of the devil look who's here y/n" I would have sprung out of the bed if I could I walked into the room and gave me a very large hug
"How was it you don't look hurt or anything"
"Yeah I wasn't too hard of a mission," he said almost in a complaining tone "but enough about me how's your leg"
I want to lie so I don't worry him but it's kind of hard to when I can't move. " it's horrible it doesn't move unless I move it myself" the corners of his mouth went down. "No no no it's ok don't worry I'll be better before you know it"
"Good how long will it take to heal I want to see you on your feet again"
"Well I don't know maybe a couple more months at most" I smile trying to make the situation better but he still looked down "smile for me please" I took my fingers and pulled the corners of his mouth into a smile, I smile to
Shinobu stomped into the room "oh my gosh guys I'm literally about to scream make him your boyfriend already, now I'm going to step out of this room and come back in 10 minutes and if you guys aren't doing couple stuff I'm gonna be mad" she stepped out like she said she was going to I looked back at giyuu his cheeks were a bright red hue and he refused to look me in the eye. He started to awkwardly laugh like he was trying to hide something.
"She's funny ha ha ha" I started to awkwardly laugh as well. As the laughter died down silence hung over us" Shinobu read all our letters, she said the same thing right before you came back, that you liked me I told her she's crazy, right" he didn't look me in the face like I would of liked him too but I get it's kind of an awkward question. He shook his head slightly "wait so you-" I cut myself off he nodded "since when"
"Since we were kids, it started off as something I didn't really know what to do with it, I just felt compelled to be with you all the time, and when we grew up it got worse and worse till I figured it out not too long ago" he explained it in a way I could relate to and realized that's exactly what it was for me. Every time I saw him I felt complete and like butterflies flew willingly in my stomach.
"R-really please don't say you're joking with me" I feel a cold tear ran down my cheek unexpectedly
"Yes... I love you" he said slowly my tears of joy kept coming. His rough hands wipe my tears then cup my face, I put my hands on his, he smiled wide.
"I love you too giyuu" he gave me a long kiss on my forehead. I heard footsteps
"AHH, I WAS KIDDING I DIDNT THINK YOU GUYS WOULD ACTUALLY BECOME A COUPLE" she cried out I started to laugh "but I'm so happy for you guys, I'll leave now" she skipped away obviously in a good mood I look at you once more and smile he smiles back. This is all I need.
