Tanjiro, No ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎ "Tanjiro," I say confused as I tilt my head "Tanjiro, what's wrong with you you don't look ok" I expected him to push out a smile and tell me he was alright. his face is purple and swollen, blood flowing out of each cut so effortlessly like it was waiting to come out.
I parted my lips slightly and gawked at him. I can't move, I can't think of what to do in this situation but stay here, I'm stuck watching the boy I loved in pain.
his hands were limply holding his sword as he looked blankly at the ground. my body felt heavy but my head was light "Tanjiro, talk to me please" I cried and tried to move my weighted body towards him. I fell hard on my knees in front of him. I put my hands on both his sides and shook him.
his body was limp and cold.
I shook my head in disbelief, mumbling over and over again. "Tanjiro please, wake up," I cried hot tears rolling down my face mixing into cuts and stinging a bit; but I was num. I was num just as he was. I lifted my lover's head to see his eyes open and pupils shrunken. one of his eyes closed due to the swelling and burns on his face.
A face that smiled so warmly, a face I used to kiss all over. his lips parted and spoke "y/n" my eyes darted open. I held his face "yes, I'm here, I've got you don't worry" he rose his hand up to lay on top of mine and gave me the strongest smile he could manage. I placed my lips on his still feeling his weak smile under them. the feeling became weaker till he was no longer smiling I hugged his torso crying into his body.
my hands tightened around his shirt while his arms wrapped around my back. I felt Tanjiro take some deep breaths trying to get air back into him I felt his nails dig into my back
"Tanjiro what are you doing, that hurts" I complained. but he didn't stop, he pressed harder and harder till I felt the hot blood flow down my back. "tanjiro, please, please stop it" I cried, wincing in discomfort. he took his nails out of my back, I took a glance at my face his eyes were different his pupils seemed smaller and his eyes wider. he admired my blood on his hands and started to lick them clean.
when he finished he glared at me. I started to back away slowly "Tanjiro no, your not a, no" my breath quickened, my eyes panned over to his nails they were longer and sharp with a reddish tip. I stopped moving, I think I know I am going to die, I think I am ok with it. Tanjiro lunged at me. I just let it happen I didn't fight him.
hot tears fell down the sides of my face as he pinned me to the ground. he started to gnaw at my body and I cried out his name in response. I was losing blood and flesh by the second then I felt him stop and made his eyes meet mine. my vision was going in and out but I was conscious nonetheless.
"y/n, I'm sorry" his tears fell into the cuts that he made "I couldn't control myself, I didn't want to hurt I'm sorry" I lifted my hand to his face, and he placed his on top of mine.
"it's ok I forgive you," I said my vision was so blurry I could bearly see him. "you have a beautiful soul Tanjiro and I'm glad I got to spend my last moments with you" I slurred as I slowly lost Conscienceness.
"I love you y/n" my eyes went black and I woke up somewhere else. I looked around Tanjiro wasn't there but I still spoke to him.
