Chapter : 11

After I left her place that evening, all I could think about was the taste of her blood it was surreal and the fact that I wanted it more was making me go crazy.

It has been a week now since then. We didn't cross path, not once as I wanted and so did she.

In this past week my body went through some changes. I haven't had heart problems since then and my hearing was 10 times stronger now then before I could here people talk a mile away, hell I could even here the blood flow in their veins. I could see better, smell better and felt much better and powerful.

I was slowly turning into a monster, a monster Regina created.

Extreme hunger was a part of my life now and well there's nothing here which could satisfy me. I wanted blood more blood and I did what any other person would do, started hunting...well not in terms of killing people but it was just the blood and okay, I'll admit three people died because I drained them all and I know it's not good, I don't want this either but this is how I think it would be for me, I guess.

It was already midnight, time to hunt. I left my nest looking for a prey. I would mostly feed on homeless people, those people were an easy target and the best part is no one would notice even if they disappear cuz no one cares.

I was walking on the side walk as I heard a girl scream across the street in the alley and then there are stupid men like the one who was trying to have his way with the girl, it's like an every night thing for me to come across people like him and the best part is I get to drain them for a reason which is legal if I get caught, Just kidding!!

I crossed the street and walked behind him, the girl saw me approach as I motioned her to remain silent.

Once when I was right behind him I jumped up on him biting his neck as my canines dug deep down his skin puncturing his artery, he smelled like a rotten fish thou. Ughhhh things I do for blood!!

After when I drained him, it was the girl next, who sat there with fear in her eyes...What, I can't let her go when she just saw me do what I did and besides that I was way too hungry.

I helped her up as she gasped when she saw my fangs, "what are you ??" She asked with tears in her eyes and that helpless look.

"Funny, I asked this same question to the person who is responsible for me being who I am today and I didn't get an answer, but don't you worry human I have just the answer you want..." And with that I bit her wrist as blood poured down my throat.

"Let her go Ave" I heard that voice in my head and I knew exactly who it was, to which I smirked as I continued my feast.

I didn't kill her, she will survive unlike the man who was dead already. I made sure to erase her memory before I leave.

For now I was full but it won't be much longer when I need blood again.

Regina's Pov

"She did it again, she killed a man and this time it's the Mayor's son" Joshua said watching the news.

"Yeh well, I can see that too" I said sarcastically as he was pissing me off even more than I already am, people who can't stay calm when under stress annoy me.

"How the fuck can you stay calm, I am tired of covering her tracks. Everytime she does it, I have to make sure the bodies are disposed off so that our identities are safe, this is getting out of hand Regina. She is a rebel and we need to do something or else she will fuck it all up!!!" He was pacing across my office which was quite irritating to be honest.

"Can you stop doing that and take a seat please" I said trying my best to keep it polite.

He was about to retaliate when the door to my office flung wide open and in walked the twins to which I sighed, why is everyone trying to make my existence rough.

"What is it this time ??" Huffing I gave them a quick look.

"Ave is missing" Jill said clearly concerned as to where her dear friend disappeared.

"Do you see 'Police Station' written somewhere outside of my office...." standing up I walked my way towards them while they looked at me nervously, "No, that's right you didn't because this is not a police station and I am not a police officer sitting here ready to help find little demons such as your friend" I will admit I was pretty rough but I am tired of it all, all I want is peace and clearly Ave is trying to make my life a living hell.

"It's because of you!! She started acting weird after that day when we found her at your place, what did you do ??" Jack asked as he looked at me with red flared up eyes. He wasn't human and how the hell did I miss this detail but he sure smells like one.

"Brother, calm down" Jill said pulling him back as she eyes me, "here is what we are going to do, we will try to find her Miss Black it's only fair if you accompany us in our little treasure hunt since you started it all" she said.

"Who are you ? You sure as hell are no humans and why can't I smell you or see your auras ?" I questioned them as there eyes glowed green.

"We are fairies, he is a protector fire fairy and I am an earth fairy" Jill said and now it all makes sense, the dogs were attracted to her since she was an earth fairy, these type are in tune with animals, spirit of nature and the earth while the protector fire types are basically the soldiers of magic realm they have the authority to identify and punish any threats which could harm the wellbeing of the circle of realms.

"Hence why we couldn't smell you because you mirrored the humans" Joshua said from beside me as he had a grin up on his face cuz he figured this one out to which I rolled my eyes at him.

"And might I ask what brings you here to the human realm ?" And why Ave, how did they come in contact with her and what is going on ?? There were many such questions in my mind but I decided to stick with the one which I just asked.

Lol for some reason I had an urge to have a tooth fairy in the storyline but then I was like nah because they would be good for nothing.

P.S : I still believe in tooth fairy.
