Ave's Pov

"Hey there champ, how are you feeling ??" I woke up to Joshua standing beside me with a worried look on his face.

"Yeh...yeh I am fine, just feeling tired" I said squinting my eyes against the bright light of the room, where was I ??

"You are in Regina's room and do you want to tell me about what happened back there ??" he asked.

"I'd rather not say, it's nothing important honestly" I replied sitting back up on the bed as I adjusted the back rest while his eyes lingered up on me trying to get through, I knew exactly what he was doing but this won't affect me what I have noticed being with them is that only Regina can hear the voices inside my head and no one else. Also, she can catch up with my lies which nobody can and I understand it has to do with her being my mate and all that stuff.

But now that I think about it all, what happens if I help bring back Emma ?? Would I even be any of her concern anymore ? Like, will she care about me ?

'woww someone is falling in love...deep!!' I heard an inside voice...great now I am hearing voices teasing me.

"You do realize that if not me then Regina, either way you will have to tell what happened Ave and you know that you won't be able to hide it in-front of Regina" Joshua said pulling me out of my thoughts while I hate it when people state the obvious!!

"I know but trust me when I say that nothing happened there, we were talking and suddenly I felt tired and then there was this shooting pain in my chest after which I fainted and that's all" and he bought it well at least that's what I think judging by his facial expression.

"Okay then, I believe you but you need rest and take things slowly or else the same will happen" that said he passed me a bag of blood, "drink this, you need it".

I looked at it disappointed, the smell was awful and this wasn't even how I drink that shit, not from a bag!!

"Nope, the smell is awful and I don't drink like that from a bag!! What am I a regular vampire who will just drink whatever you offer that to in a bag, you know right that I can die if I drink that God awful thing...??" I didn't like the smell of that thing and I know I was a bit over but there were many things going on in my head.

"You sound just like Camryn, so dramatic and this blood which smells awful is Regina's, I had her fill bags just in case...but glad to know you just like Camryn don't drink from bags or anything from that matter unless the source itself" he said rolling his eyes at me.

The mention of Camryn just made it more difficult for me to process things, I felt like a replacement.

'You know that's not true' I heard that voice again, "How do you know ?!" and I said that out loud, didn't I ??

"Excuse me ??" Joshua eyed me confused.

"Nothing, was just thinking about something...anyways, where is Regina ??" I tried to distract him.

"She is on her way" he said passing me a glass of water which I took.

'You are falling for her Ave' the voice said again and it was kind of weird that I am hearing these today after I had that episode, what is wrong with me ?? Have I lost my mind or what ?
