I was in between a major surgery and that's when I heard the pounding of heart which was getting louder and more fierce by every minute that passed, I thought of it to be the person who was being operated and with concern for the poor one I glanced up to the ECG monitor and it showed normal heart rate and rhythm.

"Can you hear that loud pounding ?" I asked to my fellow doctors in the Operating Room to which they all looked up at me with concern and I knew exactly what they were thinking about, "No no, it's not the patient here, her heart beats are normal" I stated before getting back with my work, all of us were vampires here, if they didn't hear it then why am I hearing it all of a sudden, it never happened before.

The girl we were operating on was just 7 years old and was seriously injured in an accident where she lost her parents on the spot, she had blood clots in her brain while her body dealt with multiple fractures, so there was an emergency team working on her, the team consisted of 8 main doctors with four orthopaedics dealing with different injured body parts and two neurosurgeons including me, this little girl was in serious condition and I wanted her to live.

There was a point where the pounding started to irritate my whole being, I couldn't just concentrate on the surgery but I was done for the most of the part now, "Wrap it up, I have to be somewhere" I said looking up at my assistant Jude who was the only human in here, he was in his last year of residency under me and was a genius, every year I choose one student from a batch who will perform under me and this year it was Jude from his batch.

"Dr. Black, should I use sutures or Staple the skin ?" Jude raised it up as I shook my head "No, I want less scarring, use Tissue adhesive wherever possible, collect all of the reports and then submit it by the end of the day, keep a close check on her condition, she is my responsibility till she is here" I stated taking off my gloves and dumping them in a disposing bin before leaving the OT.

The pounding was now more fierce as I let my senses take over, just to get visions of a room which was dark but I can smell the formaldehyde in the air, I was in a haste and that I forgot to take my medical gown and mask off, this better be serious, I left a girl there in OT and God knows how my heart aches to be there making sure everything is going well in there with her.

I was on 5th floor and I started sensing fear and anxiety, weird that I was feeling it inside of me, cause I have never felt anything such as this. I was not sure what this is, I made my way down and as I did the pounding got louder and louder and the visions got more vivid, I figured the source of it to be down in the basement where the morgue was.

I walked down the stairs to the basement as I came across the metal door which I tried to open but was locked, how can it be closed and before I could get a hold of the diener, I heard someone crying on the opposite side, I can sense darkness and negative energy all around here which was not a good sign.

This was making me more concerned and at last I had to break in, I walked inside of the morgue and there she was, Ave Maria Angelus curled up in a ball, crying and she must have felt my presence as she sat up and I rushed my way towards her "stand up" I said and the girl eyed me blankly it was as if she wasn't in her own senses. Wrapping my arms around her frame I helped her up and right then she hugged me, in that moment I felt all of my insides melting down but I knew better to let my emotions dominate my whole being, she was not Camryn, she can't be.

I helped her outside of the morgue and supported her little frame, she seemed so delicate and sensitive. it took her a while to reagin her senses as heard her mumble out a small "thank you".
