Chapter : 27

Once when we were well settled in our seats I asked Charles that one question which was taking rounds in my head, "Who are Astral guardians ?" 

"Astral guardians are the keeper of the Astral realm, just like the three queen's, there are three Astral guardians or keeper it's one and the same thing; their responsibility is to maintain the astral realm and to guard the gates which lets you in and out of the Astral realm, Imagine your soul being in the realm intact while your body here in the physical realm it will alter many future outcomes which will further alter the existence of us all, Yes you can travel back and forth but for wrong people this they can use as a mean to escape leading them to abuse the laws of entire universe which is further unacceptable on my levels" Charles explained.

"The only people exempt to the laws are Regina, Elvyra and Eilif these three can even live in the Astral plan if they want to and besides that every queen has her own Astral protector...Elisha, Yunus and Enoch with their companions" he informed me.

"Companions ??" I was confused, do these three have associates and if they do who are they ??

"Yes, each of them has one companion all birds, Caladrius the name is Callahan companion of Elisha, Phoenix name Leif companion of Yunus and bird Adarna, Enar companion of Enoch" he passed on that information onto me of which I was really very grateful of him, at least now I know what are we dealing with.

"So the old man we saw had a dog companion and that means ??" I asked Charles to which he shook his head with a smirk.

"Which means that whoever it was did their job as always...gracefully and with due perfection, one thing you might want to know about them is that they are masters of deception and also they don't like there identities or even who protects who revealed that stays between the queen and her protector only" that said he pulled his book out from his jacket and got back to his reading.

The next few hours I spent thinking about the protectors, who can it be ?

Soon I was able to tire myself enough that sleep came to me gracefully asking me to submit myself in the arms of peace and which I did.

-----Dream-----

1st Sequence 

I heard Peter Pan bark at something behind my back, I was chilling in the gazebo with Regina who was busy working on her laptop.

I left her be, joining Peter Pan in the garden I tried to get there attention but they were too busy braking at something in the woods and so I walked towards them and kneeling down beside them I followed the direction they were looking in to figure out what it was that had them restless and before that could happen, out of nowhere Regina showed up behind us, "Children, come on inside you go...", she said walking towards us.

Following what she said I walked past her with Peter hot on my heels while pan still stood there barking at something, "All of you!!" I heard Regina yell at him and just like a kid who needs to be yelled at many times before they even listen; Pan followed us back inside.

"You both saw something didn't you, something had your attention in the woods...now what was it ??" I started to analyze the scene again, I walked my way back to where the dogs were standing, kneeling down I followed the direction of there eyesight I looked in that direction and indeed there was something in the woods, I saw the shine but couldn't just put my finger on what it was, it feels like I have seen that somewhere!!

2nd Sequence

Regina was in the kitchen preparing dinner when I walked in the kitchen to get myself a glass of water when I saw her close the window so fast, "Are you okay ??" I asked her to which she smiled and changed the very topic.

I remember there were feathers down on the kitchen floor, the feathers were huge and bright red with yellow base line, beautiful indeed but I didn't thought of it much, I wish I had thou!!

3rd Sequence

It was last night when we were having sex I felt eyes on us and I did tell Regina about that but she laughed it off.

The only thought of someone watching us sent chills down my spine.

I tried to remember what I saw, I must have seen what it was but the after events clouded my subconscious and all I had to do is try and gain clarity on the matter, slowly all of those encounters started taking turns in my head in slow-motion and then I saw it...the bird is what it was in the woods, that's what Peter Pan were barking at!!

The image then got clearer in my head, it was a Phoenix in the woods and in the Kitchen that day also in our room last night!!

So Yunus was the Astral guardian we saw at the airport, he is the protector of Regina.

"Well done kid...well done, you figured me out" I heard someone and then I saw the bird which flew past me.

It was huge and so beautiful, I couldn't just take my eyes off of it.

Now it was coming at me, scared I stepped back as the bird flew towards me with a speed of a bullet.

...I woke up to the flight attendant who was serving Charles food.

"It's Yunus, Regina's proctor!!" I said and he jumped a feet high on his seat.

"Good lord, you scared me...don't ever do that, I thought you were asleep..." He said uncovering his food container one by one.

"I was but what's important here is I figured out who it was we saw on the airport, it was Yunus and his companion Leif and it's a Phoenix" I revealed to him as he looked at me all confused.

"How do you know ??" He asked sipping on his wine the flight attendant served him with.

"Well I saw the Leif, that bird was keeping us safe at all times...it was in the garden, in the kitchen even and in our bed room...that bird goes wherever Regina goes" I tried to explain him all of what I seen and could remember as much as I could but I doubt he would understand anything cuz most of the part I felt myself rambling upon.

"I am glad you know who is the protector but that won't change a thing, the protectors can't help Regina not with the blood trance atleast..." He said looking at me sad, "Ave there are few spells and initiations which are so powerful and which can't be undone...Bloodtrance is one of them, let's just hope lady Elvyra can be of any help to us" he added.

What Charles said left me with a heavy heart, all I wanted is for Regina to recover from whatever I did.

I never meant to hurt her if anything I wanted to show her how much I was in love with her and look what I ended up doing.

Most of all I wanted to know what is it that went wrong that night ??

What did I do wrong to deserve this ?!!
