Chapter : 32

I woke up in a room surrounded by burning candles, what the heck am I doing in a room when I should have been in a hospital, these people will bring death upon me!!

"Hello...Anyone ??" I tried to shout but my throat was dry, "Water Please" I requested and out of the shadow a lady walked out, she was old and had on weird clothes and her face was covered in tattoos while her eyes were black.

She offered a clay cup which had something in it, not water.

"Drink" she said guiding the cup in my hand to my lips. I took a sip from the cup and it was blood milk, I don't know from where she got it but I drank it all in one go.

"How did you..." even before I could ask the question the lady took the empty cup from me and placed it down on the mud table and now when I take in my surroundings, I was lying on a stone platform naked.

"Its not what you think it is, the healing spell which I casted upon you before, sometimes causes hallucination so whatever you think it was in the cup, that was just your mind playing tricks. What I offered you was just water with mint and honey extracts to sooth your throat" she explained as I tried to sit.

"Where am I ?? Why am I not in a hospital ? why am I naked ? and what spell are you talking about ?" I asked her those questions to which she didn't reply and just walked out of the room leaving me here naked on the stone platform which was cold as fuck.

She walked back in with a pair of fresh clothes for me to wear. I looked at her while she avoided my gaze, "I want answers" I demanded and she said nothing.

"Feeling alright ??" I heard Lady Elvyra ask as she walked in the room as she spoke with lady first and then dismissed her, I was still naked though and I felt exposed.

In a hurry I tried to put on my clothes which again I somehow managed to mess it up, seeing me struggle with that Elvyra walked up to me as she helped me put on my clothes.

"Raise your arms" she commanded and I did what was asked of me as she helped me put on my shirt. The lady returned back with a bowl of Luke warm water and fresh towels, Elvyra asked her to place that down beside me on the platform.

"Yes" I mumbled out while she wiped my face clean with the towel as I stared down at the floor.

"What ??" she asked confused, "and eyes up at me child" she said.

"Yes, I feel alright" I answered looking her in the eyes.

"Good, so I heard that you have questions for me, bring it on then" she wiped some more under my eyes and my nose.

"What is this place and why here, why am I not in a hospital ?? also, why was I lying on a platform naked and what spell was the lady talking about ?" I asked her to which she smirked.

"Now now, aren't you a curious one" she made me look right, dipping the towel down in the bowl of luke warm water, she wiped my ear and the skin beneath.

"Well we still believe in healers, the lady you saw was a witch and one of her many abilities is that of a healer" she disclosed, "and you don't mind if the doctors strip you naked but you seem to have a problem lying here naked among the people you can trust" she added.

"You need to calm down, the spell healed you from inside. If anything you should be thankful Ave but I don't understand you broke yourself for what a toy, was it worth it ?" she asked.

"It was of importance to me emotionally, my father had it when he was a child and he gave it to me so that Odd can protect me from the monsters that I used to fear were under my bed or around me" I giggled remembering one of those nights.

"You are a brave young lady Ave, the guards who were asked by me to keep a watch on you and keep you safe they were definitely impressed by what they saw" she said cleaning up the last of my skin which was stained with blood.

I didn't say anything instead I tried to remember what happened back then but I just remembered fragments of it, one moment I was standing up and trying to focus my power and the other I was down on the ground.

"I did some research myself on the blood trance" if she didn't before, she definitely have my attention now.

"Did you find something useful ??" I asked her to which she looked at me with an emotion I couldn't just register.

"Yeh, the first ever blood trance was casted by the Sun God on his mate, which was the last one recorded and then there's no mention of such event in the history, the descendants were called the chosen ones" she shared with me whatever knowledge she had, "Blood trance was done by the Sun God to impregnate Moon Goddess that's what we know, here blood trance was casted upon a vampire by a chosen one..." Interrupting her I stood up sort of happy.

"Wait, so that means I impregnated Regina which means she is pregnant ? Carrying my child ??" I was sort of excited but it was short lived.

"Blood trance will do that, yes, but Ave you need to know something else as well" she paused, now dropping the wet towel down she took a seat beside me.

"When the Sun God casted blood trance on his mate she slept for nine months until she delivered her baby and with that it is said that she lost her title, turning into a mortal" now that's some scary shit.

"You basically ripped her from her throne Ave" I am not sure how I felt after hearing all of what she had to say, different emotions building in my heart made me tear up.

Should I be happy that Regina is pregnant, we are pregnant or should I be feeling sad that she will now loose her throne, the only thing which kept her alive.

What I did was a mistake, a mistake for Gods sake!! If it were up to me I would undo it, Would I really thou ?

Regina was carrying our child, I don't know what and how it happened but she is carrying our child and honestly I wouldn't undo it! I know, selfish but that's a part of human nature isn't it?!

If anything I should be looking for a way to bring back Regina from whatever place or should I say realm she was in.

"So you can't reverse it, surely you can try to reverse some of the effects but to do that you will have to make sacrifice. What you were able to do that night was something which was done by a god Ave..." Elyvra trailed off and what she said made me more anxious.

"Sacrifice ? What kind of sacrifice are we talking about ?" I asked her hoping that I don't have to kill someone for it.

"You will know once when it's time for you to make one and I am sorry I can't be of any more help to you then this" that said she kissed my forehead.

"I hope you will make the right decision Ave when time comes and now in absence of a ruling queen, I Queen Elvyra of the North appoint you the kingdom of west" all I wanted to do was cry, I wasn't prepared for any of this.
