"And might I ask what brings you here to the human realm ?" And why Ave, how did they come in contact with her and what is going on ?? There were many such questions in my mind but I decided to stick with the one which I just asked.

And before they could answer me, my cell phone went off. It was from an unknown number which I usually would ignore but I decided to pick it up, "Yes...".

"She did what...!!!" It was the guardian witch of the forbidden forest. She fucking entered the forbidden forest and she killed a witches familiar.

"What happened ??" Joshua asked as he saw tears in my eyes.

"She entered the forbidden land, I don't know what's going on in her head Joshua, she killed a familiar..." That said I rushed my way out of my office and towards my home, the forbidden land was under my protection.

I had one job and I couldn't do it right!!

After when I reached the border and guess what I discovered there, someone broke the protection spell which I casted a long ago.

This can't be Ave, she doesn't know what spell I used and neither does she know how to cast one or any for that matter.

Someone else did.

I entered the forest as my surroundings automatically lit up, there were fire flies all around me.

My eyes landed on the lifeless body of the familiar killed by Ave, my heart sank.

Her smell was around the place, it was so strong and strange. The whole place screamed chaos.

I followed her smell deep inside the woods, I saw her ready to jump on a centaurs, "Don't you even dare, you leave him alone" I growled behind her and it was as if she couldn't hear me, she jumped on the poor creature who tried to back off so as to not harm her.

I rushed towards her, to stop her but it was too late, the Centaurs kicked her off as it eyes me and I could just see how sorry he was, "hey, it's okay don't worry she will be fine" I rubbed his back in order to sooth him off as he leaned in to my touch.

I was aware of Ave, who was waiting to attack us. "You don't want to do this Ave, you will regret it later" this was my one last warning which she clearly ignored as she raced her way towards me.

My fangs were out at this point and I was very much ready for this, she wanted it not me and in seconds she was pinned up high on the tree. Her eyes were all black, which happens when hunger takes over a vampire and they can't control it.

"I warned you" with that I pulled her fangs out as she let out a blood curdling scream and blood sprayed all over my face and my dress, it was a white Louis vuitton dress which I just bought!!

Slowly her eyes returned back to normal as she fainted.

I carried her out of the deep woods as I saw Jack, Jill and Joshua standing there waiting on me, the creature who was lying dead minutes ago was alive, "Jill healed her" Joshua explained.

"Yeh, he wasn't dead, well he was almost but not actually dead, so I just helped the nature do its job with a little boost and he is all good!!"  Jill explained and I can't tell you how annoying she sounds to me.

"Great" I murmured as I walked past them with Ave in my arms and they followed me.

Once home, I slowly laid Ave down on my bed and I decided to go take a shower since I was all covered in blood.

After a long shower I walked out in my room all fresh as I helped myself in a pair of yoga pants and a baggy T-shirt. It was now time to clean Ave up.

After running her through a bath and putting on her clothes, I changed my bedsheet which had blood stains on it.

She won't be up anytime soon, I am sure of that and so I left her in my room as I joined the trio who were all having drinks.

Joshua's pov

"How is she ??" I asked Regina who had on a tired look.

"She will be fine and please no one else will go near her, I want to be the first person she sees when she wakes up" she said to which we all mumbled an okay.

"So where were we before the call ?" Regina asked, eyeing the twins.

"We came here for help, our realm is under threat" Jack said looking up at me.

"Under threat by who ??" I asked watching them both contemplate if they could trust us with this.

"The dark world" Jill said clearly stressed by the thought of it.

"And what is that all about ??" I was lost, I had no idea we have a dark world as well, God knows what all things the universe has beyond our earth!!

"We call it shadow earth, it's a place where the bodies of the dead and lost souls live but I thought it was impossible to make contact with that side since it was protected by Hecate" Regina explained and still it all didn't make any sense.

All I could think off was why Ave ?, if the fairies were in contact with Ave then they sure must have thought she could help with the threat, "And why do you think Ave can help ?".

"We don't want her, it's the heart we want" Jack said and that was something he shouldn't have said because the next thing we know is that he was pinned up against the wall by his throat, as Regina growled at him.

"You want to say that again ?" She asked gripping his throat even more as Jack tried to push her away.

"Regina let him go or else I'll kill him" that said Jill had the dogs turn at me as they barked at me, "Believe me they can and will kill him if you don't let my brother go" she concluded.

Why, just why didn't I see that come!!

"We never said that we will kill her, it's just that we need her heart to help revive our queen fairy" Jill explained, "Please just listen to what I have to say, it will all make sense then" she offered.

Sighing Regina closed her eyes for a second, taking it all in as she let's him go.
