"Eeeekkkkkkk!!!!! (Y/n)!!!!!!"You could hear the squeal of the hyperactive pink girl running down the hall. You had swerved just in time to avoid getting pummeled by the girl. From two years experience you had picked up on how fast to move to avoid a "Mina Attack". You had been best friends with Mina Ashido since you both started UA. You getting in from recommendation from your father Shota Aizawa.
"(Y/n)! Did you hear? We get to have a dance after the school festival! The WHOLE school will be there! Exciting, right?"
You could feel the breakfast turn in your stomach as anxiety crept in. The notion of dancing to extremely loud music and not to mention the entire school being there made it all the more nerve wracking. You could barely bring yourself to speak to people in class. The only reason you had friends was because Mina literally made you join the BakuSquad which you didn't mind.
You had both entered the classroom before your father announced the dance. Eyes peered across the room as everyone was deciding who to go with and yours had met with the one boy from your group of friends that you couldn't stop thinking about.
He gave you his best cheesy grin before you slid a textbook over your face to cover the mad blush rising to your cheeks. You couldn't help but fall for the tape boy; he was the one to always make sure you were included in everything and hyped you up when using your quirk.
That day had been full of excitement throughout the school. Each student buzzing around finding someone to go to the dance with. The dance seemed to put everyone at ease as the world outside was dealing with its own problems. You couldn't help but smile at everyone's joy.
"Earth to (y/n)." Denki waved his hands in front of your face as you noticed everyone at the lunch table looking over at you as if waiting for an answer.
"Leave her alone Denki! She hasn't been asked to the dance yet but I know who she wants to go with and it ain't you. Sorry." Mina winked at you. She leaned over "I got your back."
With all the commotion going on you never noticed the missing member at the table.
"WHERE THE HELL IS SOY SAUCE?!?"
"Bakugou chill man, I think I saw him outside talking to someone from 1-B." You gave kirishima a confused look as you took your leave to go search for Sero.

"WOW I knew 1-A was lame!!!" You could make out the annoying voice of Monoma Neito from the door. What you didn't expect to hear was a furious Sero.
"My braids are not lame!! You just wish you had someone to braid your hair."
You started to realize the braids he was talking about were the ones you had done during movie night with the Baku squad. The movie had been not been one you were excited about. Actually you were mortified.
Sero being not totally aware of what was happening in the movie did however notice when you were hiding behind a blanket. He leaned over and asked out of no where if you wanted to braid his hair knowing it would be a great distraction.***time skip***
You couldn't believe Sero left the braids in his hair.
The arguing seem to stop suddenly as you noticed Monoma being carried off by Kendo. You hid back behind the door as Kendo walked by while winking at you."Nice braids (y/n)."
You could feel the blush start to form as you face palmed but you soon remembered Sero was now left outside. You peered put the window of the door but no one was in sight.
"Who are we looking for?" You jumped out of your skin as Sero chuckled over your shoulder. You smacked his arm "Don't sneak up on people like that!" Your eyes shifted towards his hair. "Also why did you leave those two braids in? You know more people are just going to make fun of you."
"Why would I care what anyone has to say about my hair? I thought it was pretty awesome that you can braid hair and I liked the way it looked in the mirror this morning so I just left it." he shrugged, "If someone can't appreciate this fine craftsmanship then I'll just have to have a little chat with them, like I did with Monoma back there."
You simply stared at Sero puzzled by the fact that you've only ever seen him as a passive person. This side of him that just came to light made you fall for him even more. You zoned back in when you noticed a hand waving in front of you.
"Man, you sure do zone out a lot. If I didn't know any better I'd think that you were checking me out." he leaned over inches from your face with a sly smirk.
As if the gods had heard your prayers the rest of the bakusquad was headed down the hallway towards you two making Sero back away. Mina spotted you immediately and could tell something was up.
"(N/n)! You ready to go dress shopping for the dance? I dragged the rest of these guys to come with us! Unless of course you still haven't found a date!"
You stood behind Sero frantically waving your hands back and forth trying to get her to stop talking. Little did you know Bakugo took notice of the debacle playing out in front of him.
He narrowed his eyes at you and flicked your forehead, "TOMATO FACE WILL YOU GO TO THE DANCE WITH SOY SAUCE HE'S BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT ALL DAY! YOU DAMN EXTRAS ARE GIVING ME A HEADACHE!"
"He's not wrong but this was definitely not how I wanted to ask you at all." Sero started scratching the back of his neck and looked towards you as if waiting for an answer. You nodded in excitement and hooked arms with the tape boy.
You both slightly turned toward the group as they exited the building taking notice that Kirishima was patting Bakugo on the back with joyful tears in his eyes "That was so manly!"
