Ami, a short girl with long wavy brown hair tied back in a ponytail, walked into the tavern. She walked up to the bar and ordered some ale. The blonde boy behind the bar flashed her a smile and handed over the ale.
Ami started to examine her surroundings and picked up on a couple of peculiar things. One being that there was a boy floating on a giant green pillow and two....
"A TALKING PIG?!?!"
The boy behind the counter chuckled and replied "That's our mascot Hawk!"
She looked down at her ale and tried to make sure it was only ale. She then decided to get more if she was going to see strange things it was easier to take in if you were drunk.
FLASHBACK
A mom and daughter sat by the fire one night reading stories from a dusty old book. The little girl told her mother she wanted to find a prince just like the girl in the book. The mom looked to her and said anythings possible even talking pigs.
Ami never realized her mom was strangely right about pigs talking until now. She always thought her mom was a nutcase but she proved Ami wrong.
After the 7th cup of ale, the girl's cheeks became rosy red and her speech slurred. The pig hadn't stopped talking to her all night.
Realizing what time it was Ami got up from the bar almost falling on her face. She was waiting for the impact of the floor but it never came. She looked up and swore she saw a tall muscular man but she knew she was drunk and decided it was best to fall asleep before anything else that good looking came her way.
*time skip*
Ami woke up to eggs and unfortunately no bacon...
"Sorry I couldn't make you bacon but Hawk over there refused to be eaten. That pig is kinda selfish don't you think? By the way I forgot to introduce myself I'm Ban, the best cook around."
Ami pov*
The man from the night before extended his hand towards me. I immediately took it and felt a spark of excitement flow through me. Maybe this man was meant to be my prince, I mean he did save me from hitting the floor.
I blushed when I looked down and noticed I was half naked in some strangers bed.
"Oh yeah, I had taken off some of your clothes because you were drenched in ale. There's some clean ones over there that our handy little friend on the green pillow made you."
I thought back to the night before and remembered laughing so hard at a joke Hawk told that I spilt my 5th ale all over my clothes. Why do I have to be cursed with being so clumsy? Ban kept staring at me until I realized I had yet to say anything back to him.
I quickly shoved the eggs in my mouth and gave him my best smile.
"That was so good thank you. By the way where am I?"
Ban smirked and said "Well I convinced the captain to let you stay in my bed."
I could feel my face turn bright red. I had to get out of there too much awkwardness was going on and who the heck was this captain guy and why is he giving the okay for a random girl to stay in this guy's bed??
"You know you're kinda cute when you're flustered."
That was it, I thought. I grabbed the new clothes and ran into the nearest room. I put the red tank on and black tights. Did this kid really make all this? Oh and they got me black boots! I looked around for a mirror and gazed into it. It was the most perfect outfit. I just had to go thank him!
I ran down the stairs and bumped into a girl not much older than me with long grey hair.
"I'm sorry are you okay? Let me help you up."
The girl helped me to my feet and explained that her name was Elizabeth. She had guided me around the tavern introducing everyone. "It's very nice to meet you all but who is captain?"
"That's me!"
I sent daggers to the blonde boy behind the bar who I believed his name was Meliodas. "Why would you let some guy undress me!??!" I clenched up my fists ready to pound this guy's face in.
"I did it! I'm so sorry I didn't want you to have to sleep in wet clothes and King offered to make you new ones. Hawk made sure Ban and Sir Meliodas stayed down here while I was getting you to bed." Elizabeth blurted out.
"Oh" I then explained to them how I had lost my family to a fire set by the Holy Knights and how that night I came in to the tavern to drink all the bad memories away.
They all agreed that they would take me with them on their mission and immediately made me part of the group. Of course I had to work at the tavern but it couldn't be that bad right?
So part 2 is definitely on its way.
