You would think your best friend would be there for everything.. wrong!
Your best friend Magna was currently swooning over Mimosa from the freaking golden dawn. He hasn't been able to keep his eyes off of her. He couldn't even have a full conversation without bringing her up.
You were eventually red in the face and steaming from the ears. He was on another rant about how unfair it was that Mimosa wasn't in the black bulls.
You walked off towards Vanessa and of course enough booze to pour your feelings into. You couldn't believe the one guy that you had developed feelings for had gone and fell in love with another girl.
You grabbed the nearest bottle and chugged. Vanessa could be heard cheering in the background as you downed the second bottle.
You turned around from the bar only to see Magna still dramatically carrying on the conversation not even noticing you walked away.
"Little jealous?"
You practically jumped from your spot when and glared at the man who interrupted your angry thoughts...
Finral.
You clicked your tongue and turned back to your bottle not wanting to deal with the man hoe of the century.
"You know there are so many other guys out there. I mean there might be another guy in the black bulls who may or may not like you." He trailed off and began to look at the ground.
"Finral bathroom now." Yami yelled across the room.
He sighed and left saying "just think about it (y/n), okay?"
You then looked at the bottle and back at your so called best friend Magna. You started to realize Magna was only your best friend when it came to taking out enemies or training. The only person who was there for you when you felt self conscious when trying on a new outfit or when you got hurt on a mission or when other magic knights made fun of your grimoire it was Finral.
Finral had been there when the news of your parents passing had come during a dungeon mission. He knew exactly how to make you feel better.
"Honey, the bottle isn't going to give you an answer to your problems."
Vanessa gave you a sympathetic look.
Finral then walked back in and told Asta to go on a double date with him. Great you begin to like another guy and all he does is chase other girls. You didn't notice but you had been staring a hole into the back of Finral's head.
"You know staring at his head won't blow it up... He liiiiiikes you!!" She started to slur out. "He told me one night when I got him drunk that he is totally in love with you but knows you like Magna so he decided to try and get over you by going out with other girls. Truthfully I don't think his plan is wwworking. Damn, I'm out of booze."
She then took her bottle and turned it upside down as you looked at the bottle time seemed to slow down. At first you saw the bright light headed your way then heard someone yell before feeling the impact.
"MAGNA!!!!" You screamed as you began to get up from the floor.
He instantly began to plead for mercy after hitting you with his fire ball. You looked him in the eyes and it clicked. You didn't want to be with Magna you only felt that he was the only one who understood you but he wasn't.
You looked up and said Finral starting back. You walked past Magna and without breaking eye contact walked right up to Finral.
He started to become sweaty and fidgety as you approached.
"You wanna go get some ice cream with me?"
He chuckled "mmmmmeee?" His voice nervously got higher.
"Wait (y/n) I thought you were going to go with me and Mimosa?" Magna cried.
"It's Mimosa and I, but nah I think I would rather go on a date with Finral, right?" You turned to him and saw his face turn red.
He started to run the back of his neck "hehe yeah I've been meaning to ask you out. I was going to get to it eventually..."
You couldn't help but find it cute. You grabbed his arm and started to drag him to the ice cream "come on cutie I'm craving some sweets and If I don't get them soon I'll be haaaanggrryy~~"
