Being the daughter of the notorious Eraserhead wasn't the best when it came to laying low in UA. You got the spot in class 1A only from your father's reputation if that wasn't the worst part you couldn't even fully control (your quirk).Ever since joining class 1A many tried to befriend you but all failed. You turned them down one by one not wanting to become attached to others who had a completely different mindset. You weren't here to become a great hero and save everyone that was your dad's dream for you. Your dream was what happened after all the fighting.
You would spend most of your time with recovery girl as she instructed you on the medical field. She insisted you tell your father but you knew that would break him. You opted for the other option of not telling him until absolutely necessary.
You did find certain scenarios difficult at UA such as team exercises and above all sitting alone in the cafeteria. Which was where you currently were trying to munch down on your lunch before scrambling out to go meet recovery girl.
You jumped as the clanking of another tray hit the table. You kept your head down with the anxiety building of having to start a conversation with the stranger.
"So.... you like to sit alone too?"
You didn't answer. Hoping the guy would leave.
"Okay, look you don't have to answer. I've just seen you sit here every day and not talk to anyone. Also good job not answering my question. Didn't want me to use my quirk and control you?"
You finally looked up at the boy noticing the slight smirk that played on his lips and the way his hair looked lightly poofed. You could see the the dark circles under his eyes but that all added to his mysterious aura. Finally you noticed how his gaze never left you.
"Like what you see?"
He chuckled as the heat rose to your cheeks. Not once had anyone in 1A peaked your interest as much as this boy had.
This interaction had not been the last. Shinsou had taken it upon himself to sit with you every day at lunch and had walked you to class a few times. You still exchanged only a few set of words between each other but that didn't matter.
Seemed like a great blossoming friendship until something felt different. Shinsou started to ask more questions and became upset when all you had to answer with were "yes" or "no".
Finally the day came when he couldn't take it anymore. " (y/n), I really need you to speak to me."
You could see the pleasing in his eyes and you already set yourself up to answer an questions he had. "These past few weeks have been amazing, I didn't think I'd ever make a friend like you but I've been thinking"- he scratched the back of his neck " I get a different feeling when I'm with you and it bothers me because I'm falling for this person who barely says things and who disappears during her free time. If anything it feels like maybe you actually have a boyfriend and you don't want to tell me and if I'm right then I really hate that guy. I don't want to ruin our friendship at all but could you at least tell me if I have a chance?"
You were ready to answer but you were thrown off by the fact that the only boy in the school you care to talk to thought you had a secret boyfriend in your spare time.
A wide smile started to form on your face. Shinsou became flustered by the change of attitude and stared at you confused.
You had found another person to share your dreams with. You took his hand in yours and decided now it was time for some answers. "Let's go meet my secret boyfriend."
No words were spoken as you walked up to recovery girl and Shinsou's jaw started to drop.
"Well? Now I need an answer. How does it feel to be jealous of an elderly lady?" You smirked.
You couldn't contain your giggles and he just smiled while you two continued walking to class hand in hand.
"So does your dad know you want to go into the recovery side of things?"
You came to a halt as your eyes grew big. "You ever tell my dad about any of this and I will personally figure out your address and shave your head while you sleep!"
"You know.... we need to work on your threats. You may have scared the dust bunnies under the desks." He chuckled leaving you at the entrance to 1A classroom.
