"Do you need something?"

I jumped and turned around to see a tall boy hovering over me with a questioning look

"SHHHH i'm trying to follow someone"
i say while looking where the blonde guy went

"Thats kinda weird. Why do you wanna do that"

"I think he knows someone I know,, and he seems to be in a bit of a rush"
i say while pointing to the man walking up to technos place

"You mean Philza?"

"Is that his name?" i question as I get closer to him

"If you want to uh,, talk to him just go up to him"

"no,,, i dont wanna do that-" i say sitting on the ground behind a bush

i cross my arms and close my eyes

the tall boy sits in-front of me looking dazed

"whats your name?" he asks

"y/n...you?"

"Ranboo" he said

I nodded

we sat in silence for a bit and then he asked
"uhm...d-do you live here or...?"

"ehh sorta,, more like i live underground. I been here though"

"Ah,, you been to technos place?"
I nod and smile a bit

"He actually dug into my home, he saw me laying in my bed and thought i was prisoned" I chuckle to myself

"He took me in, fed me, kept me warm. It was...a really nostalgic feeling." I say looking at ranboo

he seemed to be sympathetic, as if he too understood and felt the things i described to him.

"Are you and techno a thing?" he asked

"WHA T- wHERE DID THAT COME FROM- I-" i panic a bit waving my arms around like a lunatic

"Ranboo- i j-just met dude- I haven't really spoken or seen him since we last spoke-" I said

"ahh,, sorry" he said rubbing the back of his neck

once again, we sat in an awkward silence.

I then hear voices from a distance. I look to see it was both philza and techno talking to eachother.

Now that I see them together talking...they of course have a very close connection to one another..the outfits they were wearing were even similar to eachothers.

"You can still go and talk to them-"

"You know im not gonna do that so stop asking-"

"gotcha"

I look at both of them from the bushes a bit longer before I slump back down to the ground

"Whats wrong?" Ranboo asked

"Nah,, nothing us wrong"
I stood up and started walking away and to my surprise, ranboo followed.

"You sure nothing is wrong?"

"Yeah,, Im just..ya know...awkward when it comes to interacting with people more than once...if that makes sense."

"mhm" he nods

"I just.."
I stopped walking and look at the ground

"Ranboo how do I talk to people...How do I form a friendship with someone whom i just met..? How do i talk to them, how do I approach them..h-how do I befriend them..." I asked him still looking at the ground

Ranboo stands there, scratching the back of his head.

"Uhm..well i'd say you really dont know unless you try. Just be straight up and talk to them. They will be worth talking to if they give you their time."

I think for a moment and breathe in and out slowly. Playing with my fingers/hair.

"Yeah...Yeah i think you're right." I sigh and look at ranboo

"Thanks for the..advice. I needed that" I smile lightly and he gives a smile back

We stand there in silence for a few seconds before I asked;

"Hey how old are you?"

"u-uhhmm wow uhm,, I am a minor-"

"Aah, okay okay...You're a smart kid ranboo." I say lightly punching his arm

"haha! ha..yeah...T-Thank you..uh..y/n" he said holding his arm and looking down and smiling awkwardly

I chuckle and smile at him once more before I decided to make my leave

"Well,, I'll be heading home now. Thank you for talking with me and It was such a pleasure to meet you" I said before walking away

"y-yeah! It was nice meeting you too!" Ranboo says waving goodbye

We part ways and I head home to think about what to do the next time i see techno.

RANBOO POV:

I walk out of the bushes to look for phil and techno. Once I step out phil and techno were already there on the other side and saw me walk out

"Why- did you just come out of the bushes?" Phil asked

"Super sketchy Ranboo. Also my poor beautiful bushes got stomped on." Techno added

"oh! well...no reason...actually...yes reason"

I walked to techno

"Hey techno do you know someone named y/n?"

As soon as I said her name, his face appeared a little taken back.
"uh- yeah why?"

I smile
"W-well..I was just talking to her.."

"wait- she was here?" techno said

"who?" phil asked

"Shes a girl that I kept here for some time..before she went off home.." Techno said looking at me

"Ah,, so.. I was just talking to her and...Techno, she wants to see you again. However, shes a bit awkward and doesn't know how to properly talk to you"
I said

"h eh??? She wants to see me??" techno said pointing at himself

"mhm"

"why-"

Phil starts laughing and techno looks at him with genuine confusion

"I dont know..maybe she thinks you're cool"
i said

"well shes not wrong i am pretty cool..uh swag as some might say.....okay i regret everything i said ARE YOU SURE SHE WANTS TO SEE ME"

phil starts laughing harder

"Yes techno- When you see her...just say hi or something...shes a lot more uh...awkward i guess"

"Hm...perhaps. If i do see her i guess...we shall converse" Techno scratches his cheek and looks to the side bashfully

"I'll talk to her tomorrow"
