I'll Be Your Strength

"I remember."

This chapter is dedicated to the fanfiction "Skinny Love" by ThatKidNiti. Her fanfiction made me want to throw myself off a cliff, so basically I'm typing from my grave right now. + thank you for ruining my life in one line. 

This whole chapter is probably gonna be in Ori's POV, so bear with me people.

"I remember"

Chapter 7: 

-ORI'S POV- 

We walked into the bus laughing. Nathan was behind me with his arms around my neck.  

"You gotta love Niall though." I replied. 

"Who doesn't? He's probably the only member in One Direction I can tolerate." The last part was more to himself, but I heard him fine and turned my head to smile at him. 

"Eyyyy, so the two lovebirds are back." Jay commented. I could feel Nathan stiffen up behind me, but I didn't know why. Jays joking manner immediately turning serious. He awkwardly coughed a little, and turned for Karla. "Karla?Babe?"  

"In here!" She replied back, in his room. 

"Alright!" He speed walked towards her, desperate to get rid of the situation. 

I turn around again to look at nath, who still hadnt relaxed. "What's wrong?"  

He broke out of his gaze, and seemed to process what I said a few minutes after I actually said it.  

He smiled lightly, "nothing, I'm fine." He tightened his grip around my neck and shifted his feet. "It's still early, we can do something." He suggested. 

I broke out of his grip, and turned to look at him. Scoffing I remarked, "like what? build a fort and watch the notebook?"  

-flashback*in Nathan's POV*- 

"I'm only doing this because of you, yanno" I yelled across the room. 

"Oh shut up Sykes. You know that isn't true...seeing that you rented the movie while I was getting snacks" bekie winked at me and I could feel the butterflies starting to kick in. 

"Pfft, whatever." I mumbled. 

She laughed and threw me another sheet for the fort. Half an hour later, we were both cuddling inside the fort and starting the movie. 

"Did you actually have to choose the notebook. Like come on, you know how emotional I get when I watch these films." 

"Yup, I actually had to." I kissed her forehead and continued, "it'll only give me another reason to hug you closer." 

I felt her cheeks redden and I kissed them. 

"That didn't help" 

i winked and said,"Eh, whatever"  

*back in Ori's POV*

I felt him tensing up, once again. His eyes lost focus, and he started to zone out. 

I held his arm, "you sure you're okay though?" 

"Yeah." He shook his head. "Yeah, I'm fine" he weakly smiled, and I dropped the subject.
