"I know."

Chapter 19:

-ORIS POV-

I feel a soft peck on my lips before I grogilly opened my eyes.

"Love? You awake yet?" I hear Nathan chuckle above me and I smiled at him.

"So what are we doing today?" I asked

"We're going to the beach."

"Oh...just the beach?" Everything we've been doing was exciting and adventerous, now we're going to the beach. The damn beach.

"Well, kinda. You'll see." He cheekily grins at me and gets out of the bed.

"Get dressed! Oh and pack too, we're leaving in half an hour!" He walks out the door without letting me reply and I pull the blanket off of me.

Pack? I ignored the questions tugging at my brain and drag the suitcase from underneath my bed out. Opening my drawers, I fished for a bathing suit, some shorts and tank tops to wear, but came up mostly empty. My stomach started hurting a bit, and I started to gag. I ran into my bathroom and hung my head over the toilet.

Blood started pouring out of my mouth at what must be an extremely unhealthy rate.

-flashback-

"Alright, Ms.Zwerdling, your test results are in and it doesn't look so good. Your condition has gotten worse and uh, you are going to be under critical condition the next couple of weeks. We have treatment for you if you would like to take it, if not, we can still provide pills."

I shook my head no to either one, I didn't want to make it out, not like that.

He nodded accepting my answer and continued, "However, I will give you medicine if it gets vital. It will have no cost, and you will have to take it home. At home should such symptoms happen, it is up to you whether you take it or not."

I nodded my head and started kicking my legs impatiently.

"Blood in your urine, throwing up blood..."

-flashback over-

I rinsed my mouth with water to get rid of the blood and took the pills. Nath knocked on my door and yelled "You okay?"

"I'm fine!" I replied, and he took it.

"Alright, well we're leaving in half an hour love!"

"Okay!"

He left the room and I went out of the bathroom to finish packing.

***

We stepped out of the airport and breathed in the salty smell of sand and the beach.

"This is actually perfect." I whispered.

He chuckled at my remark and I nudged him in the side, "what?"

"It's just Ibiza, Ori."

I mocked him in a deep and stupid voice, "It's just Ibiza, Ori." I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the beach, with my suitcase in hand. He grinned as I walked away, but didn't follow me.

Scratching his forehead, he yelled out at me, "Um don't you want to check in the hotel first?"

I stopped midway in my tracks, and turned back around on my heel.

"Right." I snapped at pointed at Nath with my thumb up. He chuckled and dragged me along the way to our hotel.

***

Nathan stood behind me and led me to an unknown destination as he covered my eyes with his hands.

"Almost there." He whispered into my ear. I bit my lip and nodded slowly. My white dress that stopped at me knees was swaying in the wind, and the afternoon air was overwhelming.

He took his hands over my eyes and I blinked once or twice. We were standing on the boardwalk, the sunset glowing in our faces.

"Check!" Nathan exclaimed as he drew a check into the air.

"Sunset on the beach. You remembered." I smiled over at him.

"Of course I did, how could I not?"

-flashback-

"So what huh?" I teased

"So I'm gonna tickle you until we're even!"

I stood there pouting dramatically. "Take me to a sunset on the beach, then we'll be even."

-flashback over-

I stood next to Nath with his arm lazily held around my waist. We watched the ocean and sunset envoloped in silence until I spoke up, "Nath, I've gotta tell you something."

"Yeah?" He nuzzled his face into my neck to reassure me.

I took a deep breath before replying, "I'm going to die. Yanno. Soon."

He took his head out but still held my waist. He sighed and replied, "I know."
