Fuck! I wanted to punch something and possibly kill someone. I couldn’t just sit here and do anything. Not after I saw how scared she was. I had to help her. Fuck! I stand abruptly.

“Tristan! No.” Jasper’s voice seems faint like he’s talking to me from across the room. I follow the direction his voice came from and try to focus on him.

“You promised.” He mouths to me, reminding me of trusting Star. She could handle herself right? No, she would never want to hurt you. My gut denies with me.

“Where are you going?” Elliot asks accusingly and suspiciously. I look at him pissed for his existence. He just made everything worse, we had to help Star keep her secret yet, he was the one person who could actually make a difference. But cause Star didn’t want that or trust him completely yet. We had to lie to him. If only I could knock him out for the next few hours. Or minutes.

“We have to do damage control, Mac’s gonna call our parents and skipping school isn’t really on the top of their desired list.” Jasper says standing up. “You should call the principal too, Mac’s bound to call him too. Last I checked, springing three students from school for buffet isn’t a school policy.”

“I would be worried but, that’s only if I weren’t friends with the principal, Johnson and I go way back. I should have been out of the school a month ago, he’s just decided to give Ms Sherry a longer leave.” Elliot says confidently and I want to punch him so hard. Why was he so blind to all that’s actually happening? “I can make a few calls for you two too if you want.” The bloody fucker adds.

“Great! You do that; we’ll go get some ice cream for you. You know for a thank you.” Jasper says nodding his head and retreating to the food. I follow him cursing Elliot in my head. Why the hell hasn’t he asked about Star? Seriously he wasn’t helping his case right now.

“Guys, I have one more question, Star’ll be fine right? Not too big consequences.” Elliot finally asks. His green eyes reminding me of Star when she told me about what was happening the first time. I should have just forced to runaway then. I was such an idiot.

“She’s a strong girl, she’ll be fine.” Jasper says not sure himself how to answer him.

Elliot nods his head and pulls out his phone. We retreat and I start cursing outloud.

“Shut up, and calm the fuck down.” Jasper tells me as he pulls me out the back of the hotel and into an ally way. I barely notice the kitchen in action or whatever. I was still stuck at the look on her face.

“We have to help her. We have to go now. They’ll still be on their way back, if we leave now, we’ll reach her before he does too much damage.” I tell Jasper my plan.

“Look, trust her. Just this morning you went with your first instinct and she got pissed with you. Star will call us when it’s over. So calm down. He wont hurt her. He can’t and he knows that. If he wanted to he would have done it a long time ago.” Jasper tells me as I grind my teeth wanting to punch the bastard. He was right. Star wouldn’t want us barging in there. She had a plan. Or I hope she did. It wasn’t what she has been telling me, but she must have something and I have to trust her on this.
