Katya kissed Trixie's wrist comfortingly before she nervously asked;

"You're sure you're gonna be alright?"

"I'll be fine, just keep him occupied. Make sure he doesn't leave until I text you." The brown-eyed doll replied.

They'd finally found a way for Trixie to have more time to look around in Robert's office. Katya had contacted him about distribution of the last set of videos, claiming that they had points they hadn't finished negotiating. Robert would therefor be joining her for lunch at a nearby restaurant to sort it out, providing Trixie with undisturbed access to his office. She'd managed to grab the spare keys from his desk drawer the last time she'd visited the man's office, and so all she needed was for him to leave.

"I will, I won't let him leave until you're out of there."

"Okay, let's do this then." Trixie said, unbuckling her seat belt and preparing to step out of the car.

"See you soon, baby. I love you." Katya replied.

"I love you too." The doll said, giving the woman a quick kiss before exciting the car, looking fearfully at the building in front of her which had never looked so tall before.

Never before had she entered the company and felt so out of place. She felt as if she no longer belonged, as if it wasn't truly her the people she walked by should be greeting. Still she played it cool, forcing her heart to calm as she made her way up to the floor where Robert's office was.

Casually she walked through the hallway, just catching a glimpse of the man before he turned the corner to walk towards the elevators. The coast was clear, she realized, and so quickly before any security or staff noticed, she unlocked the office door and snuck inside.

She couldn't count the amount of times she'd been there looking, but at least she'd narrowed things down, knowing that there were many places where she no longer had to look. She knew where what she was looking for would most likely be kept; Robert's safe, which she up until recently didn't even know existed.

Trixie opened the closet in the corner of the room, pushing aside the man's jackets and coats until she saw the shelf behind it, and there is was; a small, silver safe which could be unlocked with the keypad or with a special key. A key which Robert had two of, one on his regular key set, and one attached to his spare keys, the very same set of keys that were now in Trixie's hands.

With a rapidly beating heart she put the key in, turning it gently and pulling the door to the safe open. She stared with wide eyes as she viewed the contents, spare cash, contracts, and books which Trixie assumed were ledgers, exactly what she was hoping to find. What grabbed her attention more tho, was a file with her name on it.

She took it out and felt her heart speed up as she saw pages upon pages with contact details for her family. There it was, everything Robert was holding over her head, safely kept locked away and readily available to blackmail her at any time. She felt disgusted, but she knew she could linger, she had to hurry. A part of her wanted to take the file and burn it, but she wasn't dumb enough to think that Robert wouldn't have copies of the file hidden somewhere else.

Trixie pulled out the books, finding two identical ledgers, but quickly noticing that multiple numbers were missing in one of them, whilst the other showed transactions to an overseas account. It was there, written in black and white, and if it got out, Robert would face serious tax evasion charges.

"This is it... I found it." Trixie whispered in shock and joy before she quickly pulled out her phone, taking photos of each incriminating page of the book.

Suddenly noises could be heard outside the room, the voices were muffled by the thick wood of the door, but even so Trixie knew she was in trouble. She quickly put everything back into the safe and the spare keys back into the drawer that she had stolen them from.

"Is somebody in there?" A voice outside said.

"Fuck." Trixie said quietly to herself as she looked around for a solution.

The fire alarm.

She ran over to the little red box on the wall, pulling the trigger down, and breathing out calmly as she heard the alarm ring out loudly. Water ran like a waterfall from sprinklers in the ceiling as people outside the room made their way towards the fire escape as fast as they could. Trixie waited for a moment before sneaking out and running down the staircase which lead to the parking lot, pulling out her phone and texting;

i've got it, pick me up now

Moments later a reply pinged in.

I'm on my way
