Over You

Chapter 2

"Ma'am Lisa" the maid knock on the door. Lisa hum in response and pull her blanket up, she scooted in the soft fabric that lingering her skin.

"Ma'am are you awake?" the maid try to open the door luckily it wasn't lock.  She walk beside Lisa's bed "Ma'am have you forgotten it's your first day of school" the woman reminded her. Lisa immediately open her eyes.

"shoot! What time is it?" she stumble on the floor, she hurriedly stood up as she is embarrassed of what happened

"be careful ma'am" the woman worriedly said while acted as if she's catching Lisa from falling.

"I'm fine Mrs. Joo" she grab her towel and bathrobe and dash to the bathroom

"it's 6:30 a.m. Ma'am, do you want me to prepare your clothes ma'am?" she asked its still clear in her voice of how worried she is.

"thank you Mrs. Joo but I candle it, you may go" she answered from the bathroom.

Lisa Finished her bath after 20 mins. She then go to her walk in closet, after 5 mins of scanning she grab a yellow hoodie and a tattered jeans and a white pair of shoes. Lisa blast down to the Dining room and grab a piece of bread, she didn't notice the woman sitting opposite on the edge.

"sweetie, why in a hurry?" the woman ask

"good morning mom" she answer sluggishly "Mom! What are you doing here" she squeal after realising that it's her mom in front.

"why? Am I not allowed to be here?" she humorously ask

" My apology I'm just surprise, when did you arrived? You should have told me ahead of time that you will pay a visit so I can accompany you" she politely said and walk towards her mom and kiss its cheek.

" Just awhile ago, I came by to your room but you're not there"

Lisa glance at her watch to check the time 7:05 a.m. " Maybe I was in the bathroom, Mom as much as I want to converse with you I apologise but I must go now. It's my first day of school and I dont wanna be late" and she blast out the door.

"come back soon yet?" her mom jolt

"no mom, I forgot my keys" she pick up her car keys and blazing through her car.  Lisa unlock her car and get inside she put her things in the shotgun, she buckle her seatbeat and start the engine. "what a great day to start the school year Lalisa" she annoyingly said to herself. She drove fast her car to make it on time, She arrived in the school parking exactly 7:20 a.m. Then she turnoff the engine and heave a deep sigh and crosses her hand and begun tapping her shoulders to relax.

"you'll be fine, just relax, everything will be alright, it's just the beginning" she remind herself and step out on her car and lock the door. "now where should I start" she ask out of nowhere as if someone will answer her.

First day of my senior year here in Elite University, Yes I am a transferee and it sucks! My mom and dad decided to pursue my studies here in Korea, because one of their restaurant here needs their presence  cause its facing a hard time, I dont know exactly the reason but I get their point, and they dont want me to be left in Thailand that's the reason why I am now here in Seoul. I am against on this idea because I dont wanna leave my Grandparents there, my Friends, my Bestfriend and I worked so hard to graduate with a flying colors, for short I dont want to leave Thailand.

Lisa was on her study table reading her favorite book "A walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks she was on verge of tears when suddenly she heard a knocked from her door.

"come in" in a pensive voice while wiping her tears.

"sweetie, are you okay?" the man said in a worried voice and walk towards her

"yes dad, I just carried away on this book" and raised the book

"is that so?" her dad said in a questioning look

"by the way, what are you up to dad?" she hugged her dad and kissed its cheek

"Me and your mom has to tell you something" her dad begins but Lisa cut her off

" is this about my science grade dad? Look I'm sorry if I only got 88, I promise I'll study harder" she frowned.

"no sweetie, you've been amazing in your studies consistently no questions about that, and 88 is not bad, back then I only got 81" he laugh as he remembered the old times

"dad!" Lisa chuckle "I'm sorry, I mean I know you did not pressure me on my studies but I just wanna make you proud" with slightly frowning painted on her face as she ended.

Her father cupped her face and tilt to looked in his eyes and begin to speak again" Sweetie it's all good okay? There's nothing to be worried of, I am beyond proud of you"and he Kissed Lisa's forehead. "I am here because I just want to tell you something important"

I was cut in my thought when I suddenly bump in the door "ooowww" I grown in pain

"I'm sorry, I didn't see you comi-" she wasn't able to finished her statement  as she squeal "Lisa?"

Lisa heard the familiar voice and tilt her head to see who "Chaeyoung?" she immediately straighten her body "What are you doing here?"

"Am I supposed to be the one to ask you that? Anyway, obviously I'm studying here" while on her grinning face "by the way I'm so sorry I didn't see you coming" she added.

"it's okay, I didn't even notice it." they stay there for a second when Lisa decided to break the ice "Can you help me Chaeyoung, I'm kinda lost" and handed her schedule to Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung accept Lisa's Schedule. "Lucky you We're on the same class, come here let's find you a seat" Chaeyoung grab Lisa's hand to get imside the room.

Chaeyoung pointed the second seat in the 1st column "how about here?" but Lisa prefer sitting in the back, Lisa scanned the room and find a vacant seat near the window and walk towards it. "is this seat taken?" she ask Chaeyoung, Chaeyoung then shook her head and Lisa take her sit. She then thanked Chaeyoung

"no problem, If you have any questions or anything I'm just over there" Chaeyoung pointed the first chair near the front door. The teacher came in and Chaeyoung bid goodbye to Lisa and Lisa nods in response.

"Good Morning Everyone! " the teacher greeted her students

"Good morning Ms. Lee" the students responds in glee

"so, before we start--" the teacher was interrupted when someone opened the door, "Good morning Ms. Kim, first day of school and you're late" the teacher pseudo.

"Good Morning Ms. Lee, I'm sorry I'm late, I was stuck in a heavy traffic. May I come in?" she apologetically said. The teacher let her in, she then sit in the middle of Chaeyoung and the other girl.

"So what happened this time? " The girl ask with a smirking look

"no, nothing happened" she cut off.

Ms. Lee talk again "so, again before we start, Let's welcome our new transferee" she read the paper she's holding on "Ms. Manoban? Please come in front and introduce yourself.

Lisa Stand from her sit and walks towards the front of the class and begun to introduce herself

" Good Morning Everyone, I'm Lalisa Manoban, you can call me Lisa instead, you know, like the girl from the Simpson" and the crowd laugh as she continue " I am not Korean but I studied the language back then that's why I know a little bit of Korean" she remark and bow her head.
