Chapter 8

"Chu!"

"Good morning Jendeuk" my voice still husky and my eyes are still half asleep

"Why did you take so long to answer? Anyways have you read Jiyong's post?" She excitedly said.

"obviously I'm still sleeping, and remind me again why should I care?" I sarcastically said

She ignore my sarcasm and continue "So he posted that he will visit Seoul soon"

"WHAT!!" my eyes went wide

"riiiiiiiiiiigggghhhhtttt" she said while giggling

"don't take the wrong idea Jendeuk, I'm not excited or what, what about Lisa?" I questioned

"what about her?" she replied

"wow! you don't have any idea don't you?" I said in annoying way

"okay bye" and she cut off the line

I didnt know Jennie was so numb, like obviously over the past few weeks I can tell that Lisa is so inlove with her, everytime she saw Jennie her eyes sparks and even though how savage Jennie to her I can see her sincerity towards Jennie like she really care for Jendeuk and I know Jennie she has a feeling too but maybe she just ignore it. It's over a month now since we four hanging out with each other because some of my friends were busy on their thing.  I witnessed those two how they cling to each other and how they care to each other how and they looked for each other.

We will have a sleep over here in my Condominium since we need to finish our project for this coming science fair and I'm very excited to work on it since it's my forte. I heard my doorbell ring and immediately went through the peckhole to see who's outside and I see Rose and Lisa. I didn't open the door for a minute I just want to prank them.

"Chu! Open the damn door!" Lisa yelled still buzzing the bell, I laughed at her sillyness

"Chu! don't try my patience" Rose yell this time so I open the door, you know Rose may seem to have an Angelic voice and face but she has this dragon inside her, we all have but it's different when Rose is mad.

"did you bring chikin?" I ask, since they promise me they will buy chikin if I will agree to make our project in my place. I can afford to buy but the taste is different when its "free" you know.

"Here" Lisa handover the paper bag.

"where's Jennie?" Lisa ask

"Missed your honey?  not even 24 hrs. since you haven't saw each other Lisa"  I said teasingly

"It's not like that-" she didnt finished her defense when I cut her off

"so what it is like?" I said while wiggling my brows, Lisa could not answer when the bell ring. Speaking of the devil.

We are now currently making our project I'm the one who's in charge of the blueprints, model and the programming since among of them I'm the one who knows the process. Lisa will be my assistant in programming since she also knowledgeable about it, Jennie is in charge for papers, and Rose? should I really tell you about it? Well, Rose is in charge of our snacks, thats it. Just kidding Rose will help Jennie in papers and she's in charge to do the talking during the event.

"I'm tired" Jennie complaint

"me too" as I agree to Jennie while stretched my arms

"the audicity chu? You're the one who insisted it" Lisa said

"yaaaah! I'm not complaining can we just take a break?" I beckon because we're working for almost 3 hours now.

"snacks ready!" Chaeyoung bawled, and we went to the Dining area.

None of us dared to speak, we're too busy eating we're like a person who didn't ate for a decades maybe because when you used you're brain to much the hunger was double.

"I hate it how you're born out of nowhere" I speak to break the ice.

"what do you mean?" Jennie asked

"like you were born out of the blue and forced you to go to school, have a job or take care your family business in the future, what if I just wanted to be a turtle rabbit" I whinge and everyone burst to laughter.

We stop for a while making our project and decide to watch netflix instead, we watch the queen's gambit, we watched until we finished the whole series.

It's 10:00 pm already and we decide to go to sleep but we take a bath first we need to take turns since my condo just have two shower room one for the master's bedroom and one for the guest bedroom. Me and Lisa left in the living room

"what are you planning to do?" I ask Lisa

"what's that supposed to mean?"she ask

"I mean when will you confess to her?" I riposte as I looked at her but she looked confuse, so I restate my point

"you know what I mean Lisa, dont play dumb, so I'll ask you again when will you confess?" I speak with authority now.

"I dont know chu, I'm not certain of what I really feel towards her, for sure I like her but I just can't confess to her when I can't even figure it out if it's really Like-Like or Love like" she said feebly.

"you dont know? Or you just refuse to know? Because it's different Lis, I know I'm not in the right place to say it but, we dont have the luxury of time, what if tomorrow will be the end and you didn't have the chance to say it to her? Would you not regret it? I know it's just a short period of time but when it's love it doesn't matter at all, don't wait for the perfect time cause every now and then is a perfect time. There's nothing wrong when she love you back or not, the only wrong is when you know you have the luxury of time to fight but refuse it due to your pride and fear"

Our talked was cut when Jennie Yelled she's done.

"I'll go ahead, Think of what I've said Lisa. I'm not a love expert or what you call it but I'm not luckheaded either to not know what is love or what is like, cause what I've seen in my own naked eye you love her you just refuse to admit it." as I walked away from her.

Jennie and I are on the same room we talked about random things like what age we want to get married, we talked  about our family business I know  we talked about it alot but it's nice to talked about it often when you know the other person have the same interest and perspective as you, we reminisce our childhood, we talked also about what's next movies we suppose to watch.

Jennie is like a younger sister to me that's why I care a lot about her, and I hinder also the people who wants to get into her life and such, because seeing her cry, seeing her in pain was like tormenting to witnessed, I could risk my own life for her thats how I love her not in a romantic way but then again she's like my little sister. She's my bestfriend for a long time and we don't hide anything to each other it's the first rule because that's where trust and loyalty came from.

"Chu, I can't wait to move back to New Zealand" she said while smiling

"wait, you leaving me?" I questioned

"Don't make me feel guilty chu" She looked at me

"no I'm not, I'm just trying to say if you ever gonna leave me because of that guy-" I didn't finished what I'm supposed to say when she cut me off

"good night chu! You know I LOVE YOU RIGHT" she remark as she compressed her body to mine, That's why I gave her name "Jenduekie" since she really stick and clings alot.

"Good night" I close my eyes and sleep
