Chapter 20

Finally done with the science fair! And I'm glad we won! Chaeyoung did an incredible job by explaining our output. I roam around the campus since, the volleyball girls have practice today, I want to watch their practice but they said that their coach will not allow any viewers so they can focus. after the event they immediately went to practice because next week will be start of interschool competition. Since it's been 3 months now yet I haven't familiar with the school so let me burn the time by roaming around.

The school is too big, I think a day is not enough to explore. As I walk around I found the perfect spot to relax. A beautiful carpet grass and big tree on smooth lawn yard, with a beautiful background of a lake and trees under a white cloudy sky. I settle myself under the gigantic tree, I lean my back and bring out my book "the fault in our star" by John green. I read a chapter and I notice I begun to felt sleepy, I flip a page to read, it's a battle to read another page or take nap.

I flip a page again when a photo cascade from the book, I pick it up from the ground and I smile from ear to ear when I saw the photo, it's when me and Jennie had dinner together.

Flashback

Jennie and I will be hanging out today, I'm nervous because she might get bored or what, this is my first time to asked her to hang out with me. so it's no turning back now! I heave a sigh as I waited for her outside their mansion. I open the stereo and connected my device, I scrolled my play list and select the song Sunday Morning by Maroon 5.

10 mins had passed and I saw Jennie walking towards me, I smile in my view. I went outside my car to open the shotgun for her

"Hi, you look Gorgeous" I greet her, she's really stunning even she's wearing simple wardrobe. Oh I forgot to tell I was planning to take her on a fancy restaurant but she prefer a simple date? Is this a date right? Kekeke anyway so yeah she said, she almost tasted all the restaurant here in Seoul, so it's challenging for me where should I bought her, but me as warrior I wouldn't go to battle unprepared.

"thank you" she entered the car and I close the door for her and I ran towards the driver seat

"so where you will take me?" she asked

"that's a surprise Nini, now buckle up your seat belt please" I said politely, then she oblige.

The drive is too silent and I'm starting to panic I glimpse at her and she just staring outside the window. Come on Manoban! Speak! I cleared my throat gathering every courage to talked

"so Jen, what are you taking after we graduate?" I decide to break the ice, she look at me, I just saw in my peripheral eyes since my eyes are on the road.

"Business" she shortly said.

Well this is not nice, I'm sweating bullets now for I don't know how to keep up the conversation. I just realize that initiating conversation was harder than driving. I clear my throat again.

"is that what you really like?" I asked again. For heaven's sake keep up sis! Converge with me! I'm really sweating bullets now.

"no, my parents decide for me because they said it's the best for me. As a good daughter I have to, I understand them since I will be the one to take the company in the future." she said. I just nod

"how about you?" she asked.

"I don't know yet, maybe related with arts" I said but before she could reply we finally arrive at the store. "we're here!"

"what are we doing here?" she asked as her brows furrowed. I off the engine and unbuckle my seat belt

"will be making hand made jewelry, have you done this before?" I said smiling to her, She just shook her head.
