the following chapter contains VIOLENCE

proceed with caution.

san was right, yeosang wasn't home by the time they arrived at san and yeosang's apartment. san offered wooyoung to take a shower first and wooyoung did, his mind overflowing with thoughts of whether he should carry out his mission now or not.

"fuck you," he looked up at the ceiling as if he could look through it and up to the sky and God, "why must it be choi san? why couldn't it be someone else?"

wooyoung groaned again, hitting his head lightly on shower wall. what kind of ill fated story is this? it's almost like 'the fault in our stars' but with a more sad and aggressive reality. hold on, did he just compare his life to his most hated book of all time?

"i hate this so much." wooyoung turned off the shower head and stepped out of the cubicle. he got dressed quickly and stepped out of the bathroom. wooyoung was immediately caught up with the smell of something burning. he frowned, what the hell was going on?

wooyoung, upon realising there might be a fire going on, rushed outside to the living room to look for san. just as he arrived at the room, his anxious expression quickly slipped away from his face.

"what the hell are you doing, san?" wooyoung asked the older. the said male turned around from the stove and lightly chuckled, scratching the back of his nape, "i, uh, thought you might be hungry so i tried making some ramen."

wooyoung had to stifle a laugh since he didn't want to hurt san's pride, "this looks nothing like how any normal person cooking ramen. you could've burnt up the building! you go wash up, i'll make some ramen."

san cocked his eyebrow at wooyoung's direction, "you can cook?"

wooyoung gasped at the sheer audacity this teenager had, "excuse me? just because i'm a boy doesn't mean i can't cook. i'll make sure you taste the best ramen in your entire life when you get out of the shower. now shoo!"

san bursted out laughing at wooyoung's statement. with wooyoung's light pushes, he finally went into the bathroom and started his shower. wooyoung sighed, the thoughts of his client's words come swarming back at him.

had park junwong already send people to get san and wooyoung? or was it merely just a fragment of his imagination due to him being too nervous? no, why would wooyoung be nervous? right, san was his soulmate.

wooyoung honestly hated the idea of having san as a soulmate. don't get him wrong, after spending an entire day with san, the boy seemed nothing but a sweet, maybe mischievous, and nice boy. wooyoung knew san only stole from the riches to survive or whatever; point is, the older boy must have his reasons to rob the riches.

if wooyoung had a reason to kill the riches for the riches, then san must have a reason to steal from the riches.

anyways, wooyoung started rummaging through san's cabinet to see what him and his best friend have in their apartment. the boy managed to find three eggs, two packs of ham and six packs of ramen. it may be mean and disrespectful to eat the ramen packs they have in their apartment especially considering wooyoung wasn't even a close friend, but since san said he was going to make ramen for wooyoung, wooyoung thought it might be alright. he could always just buy more for them.

in a few minutes, wooyoung managed to make two bowls of ramen and him, being quite proud of his meal, smiled proudly at himself. he put down the bowls on the dining table and stretched a bit. just as he opened his eyes, he noticed someone standing right in front of him. that wasn't san.
