it was ten to eleven when wooyoung arrived at jungchundan park. it was getting quite chilly so wooyoung dressing himself only in a sweater and a thin scarf was quite surprising in the sidewalks. all you could see were people enveloping themselves in big coats and in mittens while walking down the frozen sidewalk. it was rare to see snow in october, but then again, the extreme climate comes and goes every now and then.
wooyoung mentally cursed himself for not wearing more clothes. apparently, it was forecasted that there will be frost on the streets and in the air as well and so people were advised to wear more while going out today. but his stupid weather app was still set in busan and funnily enough, it said that busan was only chilly and not fucking freezing like seoul is.
"where the fuck is choi san?" wooyoung muttered to himself as he shivered in the cold. if choi san doesn't appear in three minutes, wooyoung swears he's just going to leave, find out where the boy lives and assassinate him right there and then.
"why are you wearing so little?" a voice (very similar to the one in his head) asked wooyoung from behind. wooyoung didn't even need to turn around to know who it is, so he didn't and just groaned.
"technical difficulties." replied wooyoung, "where are we going? i'm freezing."
san chuckled and frowned at how wooyoung was physically shivering. "hey, i know there's a mall nearby. do you want to go buy some layers there?"
wooyoung immediately perked up and not caring if san liked it or not, linked his arms with san's. "lead the way." wooyoung said, looking at the ground, not daring to look at san.
san raised an eyebrow at wooyoung's action, "what are you doing?"
wooyoung glanced up and looked away almost immediately, "i'm cold, you're warm. i'm getting warmer."
san chuckled and muttered 'cute' under his breath.
wooyoung honestly didn't know what came over him. why was he linking arms with choi san? he has no idea. perhaps it's the soulmate thing that's making wooyoung act differently and more comfortable around choi san. anyhow, linking arms with choi san definitely made him feel warmer instantly. soulmate things, huh?
after a bit of walking, the two boys arrived at the mall. they immediately went for a coffee shop considering that both of them had not eaten anything yet. the two found a seat near the window and started ordering.
"since we're just waiting," san started, "should we play 20 questions?"
wooyoung scoffed, "you're so cliché."
san shrugged, "well, i can be the cliché one in this relationship." a little grin tugged his lips and when wooyoung turned to look at san, his face immediately turned beet red.
"w-who's going to be in a r-relationship with y-you?" wooyoung tried to sound sassy but the embarrassment he's feeling right now made him stutter, which he hated. san chuckled, "i'm just kidding. anyway, are you down for 20 questions?"
wooyoung cleared his throat, "uh, sure."
san's grin grew wider and he looked really smug himself, "what's your name?"
wooyoung opened his mouth and then closed it again. should he tell choi san his real name since san told him his? it only seemed fair, but then again, there's this risk that there might be people around him that knew who 'jung wooyoung' is. wooyoung sighed, fuck it.
