san was panicking.
oh, no, he wasn't running away from anything or anyone. not right now, at least. but he had this feeling in his chest that he just couldn't get rid of. and this feeling includes a certain jung wooyoung. he didn't know if it was the whole soulmate thing or whatever, but recently, he's been feeling... things for the younger boy.
he'd get unusually nervous around him, scared that he'd make a fool out of himself; when he sees wooyoung sad, he'd try his very best to make him happier because his heart breaks when the younger boy gets sad; if wooyoung insisted on watching this movie on that night, he'd say yes immediately even if he hated the film.
that's how serious san's little crush is.
san groaned once again, "where the hell is he?"
while san was really confused with his feelings towards the boy, he still wouldn't miss their little dates- no, hang outs for the world. although san hated how awkward he would be next to the boy because he's just scared of what would happen if san let his feelings take over him, he still loved spending nights with wooyoung and waking up with wooyoung next to him. it just feels nice.
"sannie! you're here already!" a bright voice came from the end of the hallway. san whisked his head towards the voice and smiled at wooyoung. however, his face fell when he saw someone beside the younger boy.
the boy next to wooyoung waved goodbye at wooyoung and wooyoung smiled cheerfully at him as well. san frowned, he's never seen this guy before. what if it was someone sent to kill wooyoung? san's speculation wasn't outrageous at all. there are people sent to kill others just because they need money or something. so san really couldn't rule out the possibility.
"who was that?" san asked once wooyoung got in front of his apartment and started unlocking the door. wooyoung hummed, "oh, that was yeonjun. i met him when i first moved in. have you not met him before? he's a really nice guy."
san's frown deepened, "you gotta be careful, you know? people do get hired by others to kill people just the money."
at san's comment, wooyoung's hand froze for a second before continuing. wooyoung chuckled and pushed open the apartment door, "don't be silly, sannie. i trust yeonjun!"
"i don't." san muttered under his breath before entering the younger's apartment and closing the door behind him. san noticed the bags wooyoung was carrying. he immediately went to help the boy and wooyoung smiled gratefully at him.
"i'm planning on making a typical american steak with some vegetables and mashed potato on the side. what do you think?" wooyoung asked as he started putting away the ingredients for tonight's dinner, "we could also have blueberry cheesecake for dessert. i bought them from the cafe yeosang and i met up at."
"could my portion not have vegetables or mashed potatoes? you know how much i hate them." san pouted. wooyoung turned around and chuckled lightly, "sannie, you have to eat vegetables to be healthy! don't be a baby and eat them, alright?"
san sighed, he really couldn't argue against anything when he has such a big, fat crush on jung wooyoung. everything wooyoung says, he does just because he doesn't want the younger to get upset.
"by the way, what did yeosang and you talk about?" san asked. he went over to the sofa and turned on the tv, flipping through different channels to see what's going on each of them. wooyoung shrugged, "i'll tell you later."
san frowned and turned around from his position on the sofa, "why can't you tell me now?"
"it's something special." wooyoung winked and turned back around, "i'll start making dinner! and don't complain when you get vegetables or else i'm going to make more for you, alright?"
the pink haired male groaned, "do you really have to do this to me, woo?"
wooyoung hid a small smile at the older's nickname for him. he could also feel a little blush rising to his face. he calmed himself down for a bit before turning back towards san, "eat your vegetables or you're not getting meat from me for a week."
san gasped loudly. he even turned off the tv, went towards where wooyoung was and glared at the younger, "you would not."
wooyoung raised a challenging eyebrow, "i could if i wanted to. you know i would do that. and i'll also cook the best steak and pork and fish for myself while you stare at my meat, wondering why the hell did you not listen to me when i said eat your vegetables." wooyoung taunted with a teasing smile on his lips.
san neared wooyoung once again, "you wouldn't dare to."
"i wouldn't lose anything if you don't eat meat. it's your loss and your loss only, sannie~" wooyoung provoked and with a sly grin, he turned back around to start prepping for the dinner. however, san groaned and gripped wooyoung's wrist, turning the younger to face him again and his face, this time, dangerously close to the younger's flushed face.
"i dare you to add more vegetables to the plate. i will not get here for another week if you do. and i know how much you enjoy our hang outs." san said, a small smirk replacing the curves of his lips as he stared into wooyoung's caramel brown orbs.
wooyoung gulped and averted his gaze to look at anywhere but san. san's gaze was too piercing and fierce for him to keep looking at. why is his body reacting like this? he's faced dozens of pressuring gazes yet he can't hold one with choi san? pathetic.
"i- um-" wooyoung stuttered under the gaze of san. san's smirk only grew wider at wooyoung's stammering, "see, um-"
"oh, you can't even get your words right, hm?" san said in a tone lower than his usual one. it made wooyoung blush even harder and he doesn't even know why. it makes wooyoung nervous for some reason and the slightly shorter male does not particularly like the feeling of this.
suddenly, the doorbell to wooyoung's apartment rung, breaking the two teenagers out of their trance. san silently cursed at whoever rung the doorbell, wanting to throw them down the pits of hell for ruining such a moment between him a wooyoung. he closed his eyes, took a deep breath and regained his posture. he slowly removed his grip on wooyoung's wrist and the younger slipped out of san's cage.
wooyoung had to pat his cheeks twice to try and calm his stupid feelings down. ugh, choi san and his ways of making me feel things!
wooyoung opened the door and there stood yeonjun, smiling at wooyoung. wooyoung cocked his head to the side, obviously confused why the older would be at his doorstep, "hiya. i was just wondering if you had any leftovers from dinner. see, i gave all my money to my mom again..."
"not again, yeonjun." wooyoung rolled his eyes teasingly and yeonjun chuckled lightly, "well, i haven't started cooking dinner, so you could come on in and just wait for a while. i do have another friend with me so just wait with him, yeah?" wooyoung said, stepping aside and allowing the taller male to step inside.
yeonjun worked part time at this tattoo shop and while it doesn't pay a lot, it still paid a decent amount for him to pay his rents and such. however, his money-hungry mother would never let go of any chance to ask her son for his hard-earned money. although wooyoung was taught not to trust anyone even if they suffered so much by his parents, he still pitied yeonjun because he just suffered from how fucked up the society was.
and so, whenever yeonjun mentioned that he had gave his money to his mom again, wooyoung would offer to cook for the older and made sure that yeonjun at least has a full stomach.
san raised his head at the sound of the door closing, smiling since he anticipated to see wooyoung walking back to make their dinner. however, his smile fell — once again — as his eyes fell upon the yellow-haired boy. it's the same guy that walked wooyoung back. who the hell is this guy?
"oh, you must be wooyoung's friend. hey, i'm yeonjun!" yeonjun smiled and stuck a hand out to shake san's hand.
san glanced at yeonjun's hand and frowned, "uh, i'm san. nice to meet you, i guess." san didn't shake yeonjun's hand, however. he just sat back on the sofa and focused on the tv in front of him. yeonjun looked at wooyoung confusingly and wooyoung shrugged, 'he's like that', wooyoung mouthed.
with that, wooyoung went towards the kitchen and, finally, started to make dinner for three of them now. san groaned at the new male that was now sitting next to him and glared at the boy, what a night tonight.
