Chapter 3

“ it seems you like to get socked in rain ”

Jieun gasped as she heard the deep voice approaching her. She got up from the bench and a moment of silence fell when their eyes met.

He had dark brown hair that covers his forehead, long enough to be touching his ears. His face was angular; with a sharp jaw, thin lips, and eyes… His eyes were dark brown orbs that stared intensely and eyes in which you can easily drown into with how sharp and breathtaking his stares were. Eyes that can look through a soul. He had a mole on his lower lips and one in his nose which makes his appearance cute But the most unique feature of him was his boxy smile that can melt a stone-hearted person.

Jieun clear her throat snapping back from her thoughts.

“ Do I know you?” Jieun asked breaking the silence.

“ Not actually....” the boy chimed in showing Jieun his unique smile.

“ Then why are you here?” she gasped, “are you the stalker?” she again asked. Her mouth agaped in shock.

The boy furrow his eyebrow at Jieun statement and let out a chuckle “ Nope why do you think so? ”

She stayed silent starring at the boy.

“ mmhm! Okay...” said the soggy girl as she began to walk but stopped midway when the unfamiliar boy called her.

“ Hey! wait you gonna get cold ” He ran towards her.

“Why do you care, you don't even know me? I'm already stressed leave me alone” Jieun stated in one breath, offering the boy her cold glares.

He shake his head, “ I'm helping you cause I know you ”

Jieun frown if he knows her why didn't she remember the boy.

“ You used to work at Seven-eleven right? I often visit there ” The brunette concluded gaining a nodded from the female.

“ Umm actually I'm not helping you, it's me who need your help, you know just like exchange offer ” the boy said rubbing the his back of the neck.

“What is it? ” Jieun asked, confused.

“2 days ago I visited that cafe and I lost my watch there ”

“ So..”

“ it was a gift from my hyung so can you help me? You work there so it will be easy to find that, I'm pretty sure I dropped it there ”

Jieun nodded, “ I'm sorry but I didn't work there anymore ” she gave him a apologetic look.

“ I—— Oh, it's alright ”

“ by the way ”He extended his hand holding an umbrella,“ here take it and don't get soaked again ”

She frown, trying to understand why even a stranger being nice to her, “ No thanks it's ok ” that's the least she said offering a tight lip smile.

“ Ya! Take it and later return me ” the boy suggested.

“ Thanks but it's really ok ” she whispered the last words but somehow agreed to take it. She didn't want to end up getting sick not when she rarely have any money to pay her rent.

“ I'll get going then, it was nice meeting you ” He smile and waved at her.

“ it was nice meeting you too ” she waved at her as she watches the figure fading.

He suddenly stopped at his track and turn his back to face Jieun.

He hesitates at first but with a sweet smile ask “May I know your name? ”

“ Jieun, Cho Jieun, and what about you?”

“ Call me Kim Taehyung... ”

The night falls, the blue and blue sky is dotted with countless small stars. One by one, as if to invite people to the vast space to invite. The chaste moon sails like a silvery boat in the deep blue sea. Jieun returned to her apartment with the moon light.

10:45 pm Jieun take a glance at her phone screen. She goes to her washroom to get changed. After freshening up she throws herself in her bed as she was thinking about her job...she had to found it soon she turned her head other side and saw the umbrella which was placed on her table. She didn't realise that she was smiling “ Kim Taehyung ” the words slipped from her mouth, her eyes widen as she slapped her mouth. She deep sighed and try to sleep.

“ So his name is Taehyung ”

Soon after she drifted to the dreamland.
