Chapter 1

Taehyung POV :

" it's raining again " A heavy sigh escape from my lips as soon as I saw the tiny droplets knocking the window. It's almost 10:30 of morning and we are still stuck at this cafe, waiting for our hyungs. Oh! by "we" I mean my friends Jimin and Jungkook. Isn't it hilarious hyungs told us not to be late and now because of the sudden change in weather they are the one who aren't present.

The boredom has taken over me and I'm started to loss my patience, " Are they even coming? " I decided to go through some recent articles in my phone's browser.

" Where are they? "A slight rasp voice spoke. it was Jimin, stirring his coffee that he just order. The sight of the bitter,brown liquid makes me eek in disgust.

" A perfect weather for having coffee, people who dislike it doesn't know what they are missing " taking a sip Jimin concluded.

I frowned. Never ever I want to taste that bittery substance again in my life " Not everyone loves coffee like a young romantic Manny Delgado, You coffeeholic pabo " I smack his head earning a whin from him.

" Hey! "

" What? "

" Why did you hit me? " He questioned which in response I just shurg it off.

I point out Jimin's angry look and to be honest despite he has a pure, wholesome features sometimes his intense gaze scares me.

" Geez! Can't believe you both are older than me " Jimin shifted his gaze from me to Jungkook. That made me relive. He was playing games in his phone not bothering to even look at us. disrespectful clown.

" What do you mean? " me and Jimin blurted out in unsion.

" Never mind, Jin hyung just text me they are stuck because of traffic " He finally take a glance at us but it was only for few minutes? --seconds.

I look towards the window, it's raining hard. plugging my earphones on I started to do what I was doing before, Scrolling through my browser.

This time an article caught my attention " 4 reasons why people 'fall in love' at first sight, according to science " it reads.

Love at first sight? or I can say the clichest thing I've ever heard. Is that really happen in real life? I don't think so how come a person falls in love just in first sight, probably based on how the other person look, I mean personality do exist right? This type of things are only looks good in dramas and movies. I bitterly chuckled and decided to read further.

● Even though some people don't believe in it, there's actually science behind the feeling of falling in love at first sight.

● True, deep love may not exist yet when you first meet someone, but you may create the memory of falling in love later on in your relationship.

● Some scientists do believe that love at first sight can be real for certain people, but staying in love is the deeper challenge.

Of course, I can agree with the last point you can meet someone and end up over heel pretty quickly, but falling truly, madly, deeply in love in a single glance? Is that a real thing? one flash or one sight is never enough. After reading the article I just eeked. these things are really aren't for me.

Closing my browser, I opened my Spotify and clicked on my favorite podcast show of some evergreen songs. "Everybody Loves Someday" by Dean Martin was playing. He was one of favourite all-time artist. I hummed alone with the beautiful melody of the song.

That sometime is now~

I was so into the song that I can't even realise when the cafe's door opened making the little bell ring and a silhouette come inside, I think it was a girl, she got wet because of rain, water was dripping from her hazel brown hair, her eyes were dark brown and she had heart shaped lips. she was wearing a plain tee and jeans.

Everybody finds somebody someplace~
There's no telling where love may appear~
Something in my heart keeps saying~
My someplace is here~

I unplugged my one earphone as I admire the girl's features. The music still could be hear slightly-For a moment I don't even know why I was kept looking at her.

" Karma is a bitch " I heard Jimin chirp out loud causing me to snap back to reality.

" Huh? " I was catch off guard by the sudden reference.

" Crossword- " Jimin pointed his index finger towards the magazine, " I was solving crossword "

" Oh " I mentally face pale why the heck I thought Jimin saying that to me.

I look towards the cafe counter in attempt to see her again. There she was, but why she's staring at the floor. Then my gaze shifted towards another lady around her 40s I guess, looks like she was scolding her, I was quietly observing the situation, I don't know why I'm being curious about it.

when that lady turns around she stick out her tongue and starting imitating whatever the older was babbling. I let out an inaudible chuckle at the sight. It seems that the old lady is the owner of this cafe and that girl is her employee.

" Hey Tae, whom you are drooling
over? " what? me and drooling? It was Jungkook. Is he forgot I'm older or is he playing.

" Yah! you godawful clown weren't you should use honorifics? " I glared at him. And like the world was in his side hyungs arrived.

" Sorry we are pretty late " Namjoon hyung excused gaining a eye roll from me.

" Pretty late? I spent my damn ass 35 minutes waiting for you all " I whispered which was unnoticed by them.

Hoseok hyung sit beside me and other in front seats.

The time flew very quickly. Others were talking randomly I took this chance and jolted my head a little in hopes to saw her but she wasn't there anymore. I sighed. Why the heck I even wanted to see her?

" Are you okay? You kept sighing " Hobi hyung asked.

I nodded my head as a response" yeah I'm fine "

Karma really slapped me hard. Minutes ago I was bashing about first sight love and now I myself victimized as one. Wait! No I didn't said I'm fallen for some stranger, Did I?
