Chapter 13

The day dawned crisp and clear. The sun poured through Jieun's window. ... She rubbed her bleary eyes and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky.

“ A new morning ” Jieun got up from her bed and took a glance at the mirror, “ but I'm still looking like a complete trash ”
She took her brush and went to her bathroom. After doing her usual routine, she headed to kitchen to make breakfast for herself. Today is day off so she decided to bake cake. She's pretty good at cooking.

Out of sudden her doorbell rang, she wiped her hand in the apron she is wearing and rushed towards the door revealing.......Taehyung. A small grin appear on her face.

“ you here? ” the girl wondered.

“ I was going to nearby library so I thought to visit you ” The boy stated rubbing his back of his neck.

“ I see... ” the girl make way for him to get in.

“Uh..” Taehyung make fist bring up beside his forehead and open his index finger pointing up at his forehead. The girl was confused.

“ there's something in your forehead ” he come closer to Jieun and leaned a little since he was taller. He pulled out a handkerchief for his pocket and wiped the cake batter from the girl's face.

As Jieun felt Taehyung's hand on her skin a fluttering sensations got in her stomach. Her cheeks got redden and her heart started pounding rapidly, she herself doesn't know what's wrong with her.

“ Uh thanks... ” she blurted out and started laughing awkwardly, she gulped and mentally slap herself, “ Come inside”

“ I'll be back.. ” she went to the kitchen and took a big sigh, “ what in the earth? What's wrong with you Jieun? ” She thought, she pour the water in the glass and drink that in order to clam herself down.

She bring some snacks from the kitchen and sits beside Taehyung. “ Tea ” the girl offers the boy.

“ Thanks ” the boy said offering her his signature smile.

“ Remember last time how you forced yourself to drink coffee? ” Jieun cheekily smile whilst Taehyung just nodded his head.

“ You should have told me, I would never get to know about this if your friends didn't told me that day.... ”

Jieun laughed her lungs out since she recognize the event, “ You were looking like a baby who just caught in lie ”

Taehyung giggle seeing the girl laughing cutely. Time passed so quickly that he didn't realize that he had to issue the book from the library. His eyes widen when he sees the time in his phone screen, “ Oh shit ”

“ Jieun I have to go... I'm so glad to spend my time with you ” both of them got up from the sofa.

“ Me too Taetae..”

The boy got flutter at the nickname that his friend just give her. He show her his boxy smile and with that they bid their goodbye
