MONSOON || Taehyung

Chapter 19

The first rays of sunlight lit up the room. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in. Taehyung woke up by the chirping of birds. He rubbed his eyes as a big yawn let from his mouth. He show Jieun still sleeping, a soft smile appear in his face and then he recognition what happened last time. He still feel embarrassed about what he dreamt about his best friend. It was something that Taehyung can't really explain. He headed towards the washroom and freshen himself up.

When he come out of the washroom Jieun was already awake. He began to speak while ruffling his wet hair with the towel, "oh your awake "

" Yes " Jieun offered him a bright smile.

" Come and eat the breakfast " she said and left the room.

" Why you bother, I would have cook " he softly yelled at her.

After the dinner Namjoon was the one who was washing the dishes. Jieun thought to join him so she went to help his friend.

" oh.. " the word left from Namjoon's mouth when she saw Jieun. She is like a little sister to him.

" here give me I'll wash these-" she got interrupted by the boy.

" No it's ok I'll do it " the older boy smile at her.

" Ok at least let me help you.... Please " she pouted.

" Ok ok " a smile appear on Jieun as Namjoon let her help him.

Jieun was working when her phone started ringing. She frown after seeing the caller ID and answer the call. After hunging up the phone she strom towards the counter where Mrs Kim was.

“ Mrs- I mean aunt Heejin I have to go ” with that she runs away.

“ But is anything happened? ” the lady yelled from behind.

The sky was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun. Taehyung thought to collect Jieun from her work place. He wore his casual jeans and t-shirt and headed to her aunt's coffee shop.

After arriving there he search for his friend but couldn't find her, “ She must be in the changing room ” He think and waited for her outside. His aunt noticed him and she went towards Taehyung.

“ Tae are perhaps looking for eun? ” the lady questioned the boy.

“ ab yeah I'm here to pick Jieun up ”

“ ..but she left 2 hours ago ”

“ What? Isn't that too early? ”

“ Yeah it  is but she was in hurry ”

“ Oh ok thanks aunt I have to go now ” the lady nodded at Taehyung's Statment.

He called Namjoon to make it sure if Jieun is in home.

“ Hyung! ”

“ Yes? ”

“ Is Jieun at home.. ”

“ No you went to collect her right? ”

“ yeah hyung but aunt said she left 2 hours ago already ” the boy said in a worried tone.

“ come home then we will do something” he hung up the phone and run at his apartment.

He arrived at his apartment. He was soked in rain, water was dripping from his clothes. He quickly run to his hyungs room.

“ Hyung she's not here she's not in the cafe, she not even in the park...I search for everywhere, where is she? ” Taehyung blurted out.

“  Taehyung sit here.....and listen first calm down ” Namjoon ordered him to sit down and gave him a class of water.

“ did you try to call her? ” the older boy asked.

“ She's not answering my calls ”

“ Ok relax ”

“ But what if someone kidnap her- ” he got interrupted by Namjoon.

“ ok let's go and search for her together ” he looked at his dongsaeng and gave him an assuring smile

Taehyung stand up from where he sat and nodded. Both of them got out from there apartment and headed towards the elevator.

As he come out of the elevator he bumped into someone. He lift his head to  see the person....... It was Jieun. As soon as he saw her he hugged him tightly catching the girl off gaurd. She hugged him back and patted his back, “Taehyung are you ok ” her soft voice echoed in Taehyung's ears.

“ Where were you? I try to found you everywhere ” the boy sobbed in the girl's arm. 

Jieun just rubbed his back slightly, “ I'm ok and I'm here so don't worry ” she tried to comfort him.

Namjoon smilingly stared the two of them and left them alone to let them enjoy there moment.

“ it's ok tae I'm here now ” she said again. Both of them kneel down still hugging each other, “ I was so worried why didn't you pick up my calls ”

“ Actually.... My phone's battery was dead” the girl softly chuckled.

“ please don't do this from next time ”

“ I won't.... ”

They were still hugging each other. They thought they were the only one there but pretty did they know that someone is eyeing them for the moment taehyung hugged the girl.
