Chapter 21

Jieun finally shifted to her new apartment. She was so tired after shifting her stuffs. She was so thankful to Taehyung and Namjoon who helped her not only in shifting stuff but they also help her when she didn't have any roof.

Taehyung sighed and fall on the bed, "ugh.. Finally we are done "

" Thank you Taehyung " the girl smile at him when Namjoon clear his throat intentionally.

" thank you too Namjoon " the boy looked satisfied after hearing Jieun's words.

" wanna grab a cup of tea? " out of the blue the girl asked.

" you guys continue, I have some work to complete so I'm leaving " said Namjoon and headed to his friend's house.

Jieun come back from the kitchen and handed the cup of tea to Taehyung.

" can I ask you a question? " the boy interrogated taking a sip of his tea.

" Question? What? "

" who am I to you? "

" what type of question is this " Jieun chuckled.

" answer me.. "

" of course you are my best friend and I-" as she was about complete her sentence she got interrupted by Taehyung.

" Am I just a friend? "

" Wha-" this time the girl interrupted by a ringing sound which was coming from Jieun's phone.

She unlock her phone and saw the caller ID it was her friend Hayoon. She pick up the phone, there conversation lasted long, Hahoon told her that she will come back to Seoul after two days. Few minutes later they bid their good bye and hung thier phone up.

Jieun turn her head to face Taehyung but he was no longer there, " uh where did he go? " she mumbled.

His question was keep playing in her head, " Is Taehyung just my friend? "

Taehyung left Jieun's apartment few minutes ago and now he was having his conversation with his Namjoon hyung.

" I am just her friend " the boy cried out buring his head in his palms.

" Just tell her how you feel, you loser " Namjoon said to him.

" Just......tell her?? "

" it's up to you to be honest and it's up to her to accept it "

" and what if I lose her as a friend "

" Are you just want to be friend for life? " the boy stared at his hyung, " so just be honest and don't run away "

Taehyung glared at his hyung and look down in defeat.

Namjoon paused for a moment and almost yelled, " just go and tell her how you feel "

" jeez you scared me " he looked at his hyung who was grinning at him.

" ahh Im going to talk to Jimin " he said and got up from where he sat.

Taehyung was in his way to his friend Jieun's home when someone stopped him. He knew who it was, " What do you want? "

" I want to talk to you about something "

" and what is it? "

" Not here come with... " Taehyung followed.

They both come to a park. The environment was filled with silence as the park was half empty. Taehyung decided to break the silence and began to spoke.

" What is it? "

" I want to ask you something " both of them were standing face to face.

" What? "

" you like Jieun.....don't you? " out of the blue Jihoon said.

Taehyung paused, " yes, I like her " he claimed wearing a no look,"why do you ask? "

" I wanted confirmation "

" for what? "

" if you really like her or not " he said coldly.

"it's none of your business who do I like " a smirk appear in Taehyung's face, " I guess we are done here " he turn around and began to walk.

" it's going to be awkward between us "

Taehyung stopped and turn to face him once again.

" Do you know we are soon getting married? " Jihoon stated.

" Our parents has arranged our marriage way before you met her "

The world suddenly stopped for taehyung, he couldn't believe what he just heard.

" Do you love her? And does she loves you too? " a sudden question left from Taehyung's mouth.

Once again an awkward silence filled the atmosphere.

" Yes...... "
