MONSOON || Taehyung

Chapter 20

Jihoon watched the two of them hugging and somewhat his heart was aching seeing the view. He was wishing that he would be in that place instead of Taehyung. He couldn't resist them together so he decided to leave. In his way to home he was kept recalling the event that happened today.

FlashBack :

Jieun answer the call and began to spoke.

“ Hello... ” the person on the other side of the phone said.

“ why did you call me... I still didn't get the answer Jihoon, why were you avoiding me ” Jieun stated in a angry tone.

“ It's not the right time I promise I will tell you later but for now please come at Seoul City Hospital ” the pleaded in fear.

“ Hospital? But why? I... is everything alright? ” the scared girl questioned him.

“ mmhm your grandma had a mild heart attack so please come here fast ” Jihoon tried to explain the girl.

“ W..what ok I'm...c..oming ” she hug up the call and quickly run towards the counter where Mrs Kim was.

“ Mrs- I mean aunt Heejin I have to go ” and with that she run away. She heard Mrs Kim asking her what happened but she outrun.

She stroms to the ICU where her grandma was as soon as she arrived at the hospital. There she see Jihoon standing.

“ W..what did doctor said is she ok now?”   her voice craked as she was running out of breath.

“ Here take it... ” Jihoon handed her a bottle of water, “ She is alright now ” the let out a sigh of relief hearing the boys word.

Both of them sat the geri chairs. A sudden thought Taehyung come in Jieun's head. She literally forgot to tell him that she is here. She took her phone and soon realized that the phone is dead, “ Shit ” she cursed at the situation.

“ What? ”

“ Nothing my phone is dead and I forgot to tell Taehyung that I'm here he must be worrying about me ”

“ Taehyung? You mean that guy I met in the coffee shop ” Jieun nodded her head at Jihoon's question.

“ but why would you bother to tell? and why would he be worry about you? ” A question left from Jihoon's mouth.

“ Because I'm staying at his house ” she said looking down.

“ what? You are staying at a boy's house ” he almost yelled.

“ Ya! What's with that? ”

“ you said you are staying at your friend's home”

“ yeah....he is a friend ”

“ But he is a boy ”

“ Jihoon have you been drinking why are acting weird from past few days” the girl asked.

“ It's... Nothing ”

There was a moment of silence.

“ Jieun... ” the boy said breaking the silence.

“ Hmm.. ”

“ Do you like Taehyung? ” Jieun was surprised by his sudden question.

“ What? ”

“ What you were with Jihoon? ” Taehyung asked widing his eyes.

“ I don't like that person.. ” he pouted.

“ don't talk like that about my best friend ” the girl chuckled at the boy's cuteness.

“ I was really worried about you ” he said as he sneezed.

“ I know.. ”

“ if this type of situation occur in future please tell me First ” he stated and another sneeze left.

“ I won't... I promise ” the girl claimed and place the wet cloth at Taehyung's forehead.

She put the thermometer in the boy's mouth and wait for the beep sound. She checked the thermometer when it beeped 30°C it read. She sighed before speaking..

“ You still have fever... Who told you to got soked in rain ” she scolded the boy like a mother.

“ it wasn't my fault ” Taehyung whined like a kid.

Out of sudden the doorbell rang.

“ I'll go and see ” the girl said and Taehyung nodded.

Jieun went to open the door revealing..

Jihoon.

“ Jihoon? ” she stared at the boy who was standing at the door while holding a bouquet of flowers.

“ This for you ” he gave the bouquet to Jieun. “ For me? Out of nowhere ”

“ Who it is? ” the voice came from behind  Jieun, it was Taehyung. His smile faded away as he saw the person at the door.

“ What are you doing here? ” he asked the boy.

“ I come to see my friend... Jieun ” he smile at her.

“ oh... Enjoy then ” the only thing he said and left offering both of them a pan am smile.

Jieun welcomed him and he enter the apartment. He looked around and take a sit on the sofa.

“ So would you like to tell me why are you here? ”

“ why can't I come to meet you? ”

Jieun rolled her eyes, “ no ”

“ ouch! ”

“ stop being dramatic ” she slapped his shoulder playfully.

Taehyung was watching them joking around from his room, “ what's wrong with me she is just talking to her friend ” mumbled to himself, “ clam down taehyung clam down ”

He got out from his room and stomp towards the door catching Jieun and Jihoon's attention.

Tae where are you going, you still have fever ”

“ at the park I want some fresh air ” with that he left the apartment. Jihoon gaze at the boys action.

“ what the deuce happened to him? ” an another voice come towards the door as Taehyung left. Jieun just shrug her shoulders.
