"Send the rest." I heard Loki say. "Well, that doesn't sound good." I voiced. I looked into the sky to see legions upon legions of Chitauri exit the portal above Stark Tower. "Sonuva...Thor?" I said. "Yes?" He answered. "I'm really starting to hate your brother." I stated. "I think we all are." Barton answered. "Call it Cap." Stark said. "All right, listen up. Until we close that portal up there our priority is containment. Barton, I want you on that roof. Eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or you turn it to ash." Cap explained. "Can you give me a lift?" Barton asked Stark. "Right. Better clench up, Legolas." Stark told him before grabbing Barton and taking to the sky. "Thor, you got to try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You got the lightning. Light the bastards up." He told him before Thor took off. "Reaper--" He started. "Just call me Reeds, Cap. We're all equals here." I said. He nodded his head. "Reeds, you think you can handle them on your own?" He asked. "You can count on me, Captain." I stated before looking over at Natasha. "Try not to die while I'm gone, you hear?" I told her. "How could I?" She said with a smirk before I looked up to my left to see Chitauri on the side of a building. "Hey, big guy. Ever played football?" I asked him pointing at the Chitauri above us. He looked up before smirking briefly. I turned and faced Natasha and Rogers. "And may Stark buy the first round when we get back." I said. "We get through this, I'll buy the whole damn bar." Stark said as I chuckled before Hulk grabbed me. "ALL RIGHT! LET'S GO!" I exclaimed before Hulk threw me at the Chitauri. I spiraled in mid-air bringing out two Vibranium daggers. "I'M READY! HOW 'BOUT YOU?!" I yelled before slamming the daggers into the neck of a Chitauri directly ahead of me.
NATASHA
"I'M READY! HOW 'BOUT YOU?!" I heard Connor shout from above before I watched a Chitauri being thrown out the building and crash into the ground. I glanced over at Cap to see him smirking. "What?" I asked. "What's the matter, Romanoff? See something you like?" Cap asked before running off to fight the Chitauri up ahead. I fluttered my eyes before running off to join Rogers. Stop getting caught up in Reeds. He's distracting you. You've got more important things to do, Natasha.
CONNOR
I spun around grabbing the staff of a Chitauri and slamming the bladed end into its skull. I noticed giant shadow was casting over me. I turned around seeing the gigantic fanged maw of the flying Chitauri creature. I sheathed my daggers before running away. I jumped over desks and slid under fallen debris before running faster. The building shook as the creature crashed through the building chasing after me. "HULK!!! COME DEAL WITH THIS GIANT PIECE OF SHIT!" I shouted before jumping out the window of the building. I jumped across the large gap between the two skyscrapers. I found civilians inside the building I was jumping to. "SHIT!" I spat as I crashed through the window. I rolled to the ground before rising to my feet and facing the behemoth. I pulled out both katanas before a roar erupted behind me. I turned around in time to see Hulk barreling down room. I dodged out of the way as Hulk ran passed and jumped at the creature with a roar. I turned around to see Hulk hanging on by one of the fangs of the beast. He pulled on it, steering the alien away from the building. I noticed some of the civilians standing next to the window. "MOVE AWAY FROM THE WINDOWS!!" I shouted running full speed down the room as giant fins sliced through the windows. I jumped in front of a woman bringing the blade of the katana down onto a fin that would've previously cut through someone's torso. The fin fell to the floor. I looked at her. "Are you all right?" I asked her. She nodded her head. "Are you sure?" I asked again. "Stay here." I told them before finding a group of hover-crafts coming nearby. "I have a flight to catch." I said before running down the floor before jumping out the building and landing on the hovercraft. "One way trip to Hell, please." I announced. I noticed that Natasha was up ahead in a hover vehicle. I brought out a DE and fired it into the head of the pilot of the hover vehicle behind me before running and jumping off the vehicle and onto Natasha's craft. "What happened to being on the ground?" I asked her. "It got boring." She answered looking over her shoulder with a smirk. "See...why let Thor and Stark have all the fun?" I asked her before firing the DE again after ducking. "We got a problem on our hands, Red-head. Reindeer Games is on our tail." I said bringing out the other DE and started firing. "Hawkeye!" Natasha shouted. "Nat, what are you doing?" Barton asked. "A little help?" She answered. "Get ready to jump." She told me. "Jump?" I questioned. "We're closing the portal." She explained. "How the hell are we supposed to do that?" I asked. "You're a genius. You'll figure it out." She answered before jumping off the vehicle flipping into the air. "God, that woman is gonna be the death of me." I muttered before I casually walking off the craft and landing on the rooftop platform of Stark Tower. I stood up and walked over to Natasha. "You know, sooner or later. You're gonna go splat and then I won't have anyone to talk about my feelings with." I said helping her up to her feet. "Worried about me?" She asked with a smirk. "Possibly." I said as the two of us walked over to the Tesseract. "The scepter..." A man said. I turned around to see man near the edge of the building. "Doctor." Natasha voiced. "Loki's scepter. The energy. The Tesseract can't fight, but you can't protect against yourself." The man explained as Natasha knelt down beside him. "It's not your fault. You didn't know what you were doing." Natasha told him. "Actually, I think I did. I built in a safety to cut their power source." He explained. "Loki's scepter." I sounded as Natasha and the man looked at me. "It may be able to close the portal. And I'm looking right at it." He said looking over the edge of the building.
