Juniper was a shining example of all the best attributes a woman could have which is why Sirius was so drawn to her and it wasn't because her brother was his best friend!
As Sirius joined the Potter family, he woke up...
Spying wasn't her forté but in this situation it was an open invitation and they had only themselves to blame. James and Lily's friendship was starting to blossom rapidly into something more, each day getting more heated due to in excessive amount of flirting. At this point, the sexual tension was no longer speaking volumes, it was screaming across the whole school.
Sat at the far side desk of the common room, June was doodling beside her potions homework, peering around the room for inspiration. She shared the room with a few others; a first year napping in the nook by the window, a small group of third years playing snaps and on the sofa was James and Lily, cuddling very closely. June smiled at their state, knowing that same comfy embrace as she would share with Sirius. She watched on casually whilst finishing her homework... naturally she scraped that and decided to draw them instead. Lily was trying to read and James was reading along with her but instead he was being distracting.

She smiled at the sketch, quickly starting another. A familiar hand smoothed down the side of her arm, the other arm wrapping around her shoulder and lightly peppered kisses to her head.
"And what is this?!" Sirius gasped looking up and down at the drawing, mesmerised, then to the cosy head boy and girl being very indiscreet
"Shh, I don't want them catching us!" June snorted back as quietly as possible. Pulling up a chair beside her, Sirius kissed her neck before grinning at them, excited to see their long cat and mouse friendship stretch to something more.
A hiccuped gasp escaped the spying couple as they caught sight of heated passion on the sofa. It finally happened... at least, they finally witnessed it. Who knows how many times they did it before

"Juni!! Quick! keep sketching" Sirius squealed in a hushed volume, bouncing in his seat and struggling to contain himself, wanting to jump on them and tease them relentlessly as it was finally his time to do it.
Pulling away quickly, James and Lily locked eyes on the snickering children, who were ironically some of the oldest in the room. "OI" their cry caught them off guard, June throwing her charcoal backwards and looking around quickly for a different view, Sirius following her lead, pretending they were glancing at the portrait of McGonagall on the wall.
The sofa couple erupted at their best friends comedic yet poor attempt of being caught peeping. "Show me" James shook his head, hand out stretched over the back of the sofa. Rising sheepishly June hesitated to give it to him, feeling proud of it and scared he make tarnish it... she chuckled a little at the thought. She knew exactly what he would do; melt over it. Taking hold of it, he pulled the drawing from his sisters grip and brought it down for Lily to see also. They were silent and let their mouths unhinge, brows raising to the moon. Sirius grinned and stood to get a look at it again.
Lily looked up with a glazed pout. "I love you, this a too cute. Can I keep them?"
June rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly, nodding and trying to take in the chorus of compliments and kind words.
"So... our turn to take the piss now?" Both June and Sirius blurted out, eyes snapping to each others' couple telepathy. By the volumes in which all four of them were laughing, the little first year in the corner awoke and sent a very unpleasant glare their way.
