The hospital bed were filled to the brim. For her first game, it was brutal and messy; the sky's were dark, rain slashed at skins, lightening struck and many players were bed bound, including June.

Usually rough play was common between Gryffindor and Slytherin but the new Ravenclaw beater played nasty and vicious. James' intense drills came in handy as bludgers were shot at them from every corner and turn - barely a second to see them. Wren Fawler, a butch and stacked girl took the last spot on the Ravenclaw team and caused chaos. She layed on the bed opposite, glaring across at June with a black eye and busted lip.

June looked like sunshine apart from her fractured arm and nose. A bludger to the arm and punch to the nose. As soon as Wren's bludger struck June, she dived toward the coward, crashing them to the pitch floor where they used the last of their energy to scrap it out. Needless to say, June won before passing out in her brothers hold.

Wren groaned, triggering the now awake and pissed off Gryffindor.

"Keep groaning, you asshole!" June hissed through the bloody nose and throbbing pain. Grabbing the curtain before the hot head nemesis could spar back, Sirius enclosed it around the wounded and surrounding peers.

"I'll put something in her drink at breakfast tomorrow." Lily scoffed, a small ripple on her lips, fuming that she didn't get a punch in either. James, standing there soaking, shook his head at them both (although enjoying it immensely).

"And why aren't you laying in bed beside me?" June frowned at Sirius, staring at an empty bed as he gripped onto a temporary crutch and Lily's shoulder.

An auto response flooded out, unable to rip it back; "Prongs would kill me, I'll wait till he's gone.." with eyes on him, embarrassed snickers and smirks made the area rather heated; With a face like thunder, James facepalmed, Remus and Lily smirked, Peter of course was rather grossed out and June... just stared at him, a flicker of a smile and red cheeks. Was he seeing that right? No insult this time... had she gone soft. Luckily, James picked up on it too.

"Don't you dare blush, Juniper!"

The tiny dimple by the crook of his smile, the small flecks of green dotted around the usual shade of grey...

"Oi girly" he clicked his fingered several times in front of her face, bringing herself back in the room.

"Click at me again Sirius and I'll bit your fingers off." June hissed, smacking his hand. She was stuck next to him in class; him on the left, Lily on the right. Exhausted and fatigued from the week, she could barely stay focused on the small task set in Charms.

Cocking an eyebrow at her unfathomably scruffy notes, she huffed at the state of them and questioned why she was being so lazy today. The pages were ripped out from underneath her, switched over to see Lily's neat writing replacing hers. She was well taken care of.

Turning her head to see what her brother was up to as she heard "Potter" being muttered by her favourite professor, she jumped slightly as she met eyes in her direction. She frowned and poked his cheek.

"Write your own notes!"

"I'm too tired. Woman, let me borrow yours?" Sirius hammed up the sad face, a mini flash back to the night he came to her house. The small flecks of green dotted around his unusual grey eyes..

"What the heck" she muttered, noticing another fleck as she unwillingly leaned closer to look, speechless as her head tilted. She wasn't confused by the colours, she was confused why the heat was raising up her neck and she wasn't able to look away. He sat still as she examined him with bewilderment, trying not to laugh as to avoid bringing attention to them - the classroom chatter being the only saving grace.

"What the heck, what? Juni..." he grinned, grabbing her hand suddenly under the table, the other poking her stomach. A blink. Back in the room. They cleared throats and turned back to the front.... their hands still holding on under the desk for a second or two more; hesitant to hold or let go.

Unable to form words to explain that odd staring outburst, she slid Lily's notes to him and continued to watch the lesson.

Little did she know that Lily spotted the moment between them.
