--4 days later--

After several days have passed, it almost seems normal now.  Altar was sent to life imprisonment for murder and several other charges... he wasn't given the death penalty due to his sister requesting the general for another solution.  I had talked to my mother about letting Brima stay, and obviously she was pretty doubtful at first, but she allowed her to stay regardless.  She gave Brima her own room and it seemed like she fitted in right away.  Though there are some problems of course.  Brima is unable to come with me to the academy since she is not a student there.  And regardless, Brima is still a princess so her going outside carelessly is impossible.  As for city that Brima had lived in, or as it was called 'Fraelin City', had gotten a mayor in replacement for the royal palace.  The mayor is an elemental user from our own town with major political skills.  He was elected with ease and now runs the town with great efficiency.  We held a big funeral for Regal, and many people had decided to visit.  Belle was torn from the accident, but she knew what was coming the day he had left the house, and was prepared for the worst.  Belle was alright with Brima living with us, and strange enough, she actually wanted her to live with me.  I think they are keeping secrets from me....

I get up from the bed, extremely drowsy.  I wipe my eyes in attempt to force them open, but they don't seem to budge.  But the smell of breakfast quickly wakes me up as I pull the covers away from me and hop away from my bed.  I run downstairs and almost trip off of the last stair.  I hear the holo tv roaring that horrid show and turn to see my mother watching When Love Conquers All.

"Gross... why always that show?" I ask Briaunna.

"You're noisy.  This is the best part, quiet" Briaunna replies.  I ponder about something for a minute.

"Wait... if you're here... then who's fixing breakfast?" I ask.

"Who else would be cooking breakfast, dunce?" Briaunna replies.

"Well you don't have to get all in my face about it..."

I shrug my shoulders and walk towards the kitchen.  I notice Brima is standing in the kitchen wearing shorts similar to the ones she wore at the Beach house.  She is wearing a t-shirt and has an apron on with an oven mit, and she is still wearing her hat.

"Oh, good morning Brima... you're cooking breakfast?"

"Oh.. um... yeah... I figured i'd have you try out some of my cooking..." Brima replies shyly.

"Ha... you didn't have to do that, i'm sure my mother wouldn't of minded cooking for us."

"I know but... well... I feel like you have done so much for me and..."

"It really is no problem" I interrupt.  "We are glad to have you with us, it's almost like having a cute sister."

Brima looks slightly disappointed but turns towards the breakfast she was making and continues.  I sit down at the kitchen table and just wait for the food to be ready.

After a few minutes, Brima calls out "B-breakfast is done!"  And I hop out of my seat as if there were an earthquake.

I walk to where she laid out the breakfast foods and it is the most amazing thing I have ever seen.  The dishes are so neatly stacked and sophisticated, and the food is greatly decorated.  Even the kitchen from which she cooked is cleaner than ever.

"W-whoa... you really didn't have to go this far..." I say in awe.

"It's only natural for me... back at the palace they taught me perfect manners and assortments.  I tend to treat any meal like a royal meal."
