"W-w-w-what d-d-do you mean he... died!?" I scream towards Brima, who is feeling staggered. She loses her serious face from before and changes it to an embarassed face. Brima looks down with embarrassment and blushes heavily.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, but it's kind of shocking to hear that the man you've been looking for has been dead the whole time!" I say.
"Kiruh... why are you looking for Maka in the first place?" Sahve comes in and asks me. "Well umm... that is because..." I pause for a moment and think. "What do I tell him!? I can't tell him the truth!"
"Tell him the truth Kiruh. Tell him everything I told you" The Sandman suddenly sprouts in.
"The truth!? I don't think Sahve will understand!" I reply.
"The kid will understand. Maybe not now, but he will later. Just tell him for now" the Sandman says as his voice fades away.
I look at Sahve. "I'm trying to revive Project Delnine" I say to him. Sahve's look completely changes. He loses the calm look that he has always had. For the first time ever, it actually looked like he was frightened.
"Are... are you out of your damn mind!?" Sahve shouts at me, with his face getting slightly more frightened.
Brima and Suiyomi both look at Sahve with concerned looks on their faces.
"Kiruh... that group is sinister! Did... did HE put you up to this!?" Sahve asks loudly. "Well yes... but!-"
"Kiruh, you can't fall forward to his tricks! He is only deceiving you!" Sahve shouts.
"How do you know so much about him anyway!?" I ask. Sahve's face starts to calm down a bit. He looks at me seriously and says, "I... was once a part of Project Delnine."
"Wow! This is a shocking turn of events! Explain!" I say with excitement.
"This isn't something to get all excited about. I joined the group at a time I was lost in myself. I had lost so many things dear to me, I ended up loosing myself. I had believed it was all the Elemental Academy's fault. I joined Project Delnine to redeem myself" Sahve says.
"What were the things that you lost, Sahve?" I ask.
"... I lost my home to a set up explosion, I lost my arm to an ally, which was later replaced with cybernetics, and most of all, I lost my one and only beloved..." Sahve replies.
"Beloved? You were tied down of all people?" I ask.
"Well of course. I wasn't always a woman hopper you know. Back then I was dedicated to her, but then the academy sent an assassin after her- or so I thought" Sahve says. Sahve crosses his arms and closes his eyes. "I won't get into detail, so long story short I thought the academy had ruined my life, so I joined Project Delnine to get rid of them. Frankly back then I couldn't even compare in strength to the Delnine Eight. I probably still can't to most of them..." Sahve pauses for a moment, then opens his eyes and looks at me. "Now explain why you are reviving this group!" Sahve shouts questionably. I take a breath and reply, "The Sandman told me... that something called the 'Assassin's order' was getting revived. I don't know much about them, but he said that if I do revive Project Delnine, I can tell them exactly what we are fighting for, and that is to stop the Assassin order's revival." Sahve stares at me for a few seconds, with a serious yet concerned look on his face. Then he says, "I won't buy it for now. But... maybe after I see you gather at least a member, and see that they have changed, maybe then will I trust this. Until then, you won't receive any assistance from me. Got it?"
"I got it... and don't worry... I will see to it that all of them have changed!" I reply. Sahve then walks to the front and motions for us to follow him again, so we begin to walk down the path again. Brima slowly nudges in without looking, and bumps into me. She jumps away in shock and says in a panic, "Oh i'm sorry! I was just trying to get close so I could tell you about my situation!"
I blush slightly and reply, "Oh... don't worry about it. Go on ahead and tell me."
"Well, I guess I should explain why he died while I was in the womb... well of course around 16 years ago my father was out in a forest training shortly after Project Delnine's disband. In the middle of his training, a woman walks by and notices him. She stops to chat with him about his element, which was psychic of course. She had mentioned that she too, was an elemental user with a strange element. She then pulls out a contract, showing that she was on a mission. The mission was to defeat a Project Delnine member. This member was obviously my father. The woman apologizes to him, and attacks, saying that 'She is only doing what her contract asks.' After a while of fighting, it seems like the woman outmatched my father in strength. She must've been very powerful... the woman aims for the killing blow when my father, out of the last inch of his strength, he summoned a technique called 'Seishunn Souls' and used it on the woman. I don't know much after the fact, I just know soon after my mother was pregnant and I was born, three days later."
"S-s-s-s-s-s-s-Seishunn Souls!?!?" I shout out at the top of my lungs. Some birds go off flying and chirping at the sound of my voice. "Wait a minute, wait a minute! That means... you are just like me!" I say to Brima.
"J-just like you!?" She says.
"Yeah! My father also used that same technique in order to defeat his opponent in battle!" I say. My excitement calms down. "But wait... how did your father know that technique? I was thinking only my father knew it..."
"That is because your father taught it to Maka" Sahve says while still walking in the front. "Your father was basically best friends with Maka. He decided to teach him one of his best techniques, because he thought it would come in handy one day."
"Well then in that case, Brima, have you encountered the woman in your mind yet!?" I ask.
"Encountered in my mind? ...I guess not" Brima replies.
"Well... how did you get your element then!? I'm pretty sure that you had to go through the same process I did!" I ask.
"Through training... like anyone else would..." Brima replies. I felt slightly embarrassed from her comment, but say "Well, shouldn't you have her element? Because I have the Sandman's element!"
"...You mean you have your Seishunn soul's element? I didn't think that was possible..." Brima says.
"Not possible!? So you don't have her element?" I ask.
"I don't even know what her element is... I just know it wasn't Psychic" Brima replies in a low voice.
"That is weird then... maybe you just have to awaken it!" I say.
"That's kind of silly..." Brima says lowly.
"Look alive kids, seems like we have some trouble ahead!" Sahve says. I look at the front to see both Sahve and Suiyomi prepared to attack. In front of them are two people, standing side by side. Both of them are wearing a white cloak with a hood, with a white robe on underneath the cloak. They also have white boots with some kind of designs on them. I notice the one on the right looks familiar, but they both have their hoods up so I can't tell. "Give up the girl, nice and easy. We don't want any trouble" the one on the right says in a familiar voice. They then take off their hoods and I can see his face clearly.
"You are... Bilial... from the Elemental testing room! The guy that sneered at me and told me I didn't have an element!" I shout.
"Bilial... just what do you think you are doing?" Sahve says to him, with a infuriating look on his face.
"Oh my... I didn't expect to see you here... master." Bilial says to Sahve in a calm voice.
