"How can I even be speaking to you!?" I yell at the Sandman. "Don't yell at me kid, don't you know who you are talking to?" He replies.
"I obviously know who I am talking to! You did all those horrible things to all those people! Wait... what exactly DID you do!?"
"Tch... Faggot Sahve not even telling you the whole story... it isn't like he doesn't know anything. He just neglected to tell you. I'll explain it clearly to you, boy. Just sit down over there, in that blank space."
"Blank space? This entire place is blank!"
"It means sit your ass down anywhere!"
"A-Ass? I've never heard that word before..."
"W-What!? You mean they've stopped teaching curse words to you brats out there?"
"Curse words? You mean this 'ass' can curse people!? Cool! I wanna learn that!"
"No you idiot! It's just words people considered 'unfriendly'. As if I give a damn."
"Dam? You give out dams?" The sandman just stands there in the shadows, completely silent.
"Can we get back on topic?" He blurts out.
"Oh, yeah yeah, go on, tell me everything! I wanna know!"
The Sandman clears his throat. He walks out of the shadows into a visible area. He has on a scary looking mask, with long dread-like hair. The mask is black and red. His eyes seem through the holes in the mask, which are an eery yellow color. He is wearing a long black overcoat, with two bandoleers over both of his shoulders. He wore a strange looking red shirt, and red and black pants. The pants had a cape looking thing over the top of them. He also wore shiny black boots that looked tough. His outfit was very similar to mine...
"Well, when it comes down to it... it all started around the time where I saw corruption in our so called 'Academy system.' I was around your age... probably a couple years older. I was a warrant officer in the Elemental Academy, which is about seven ranks below a Captain. I had just finished a mission with my teammates, and my captain. Our mission difficulty was ranked 1/10, which mind you, is one of the most highest difficulties. We come back, all pretty worn out from our mission. We had to capture a dangerous criminal, who was an elemental user. This criminal had been charged for murder on 300 counts. Many other charges were filled, but I won't go into that. He was obviously founded guilty, and sent to death. This man, as only the General knew, was my father.
....I couldn't bare stand that my father was such a criminal, but I still couldn't let go of the fact the man who inspired me to become an Elemental user was so evil. I had snuck into his cell that night. My father and I had a long talk. Eventually, he comes down to tell me that he wasn't the one to kill all those people, or do those other crimes. I didn't believe him at first, but he pulls out holo-recorded videos of the real men who did the crimes. I ask him why he didn't show this evidence in the court. He looks me straight in the eyes. He looked dead inside. He said to me, straight up, with no emotion, 'Because our General set this whole raid up.' He explains the whole story. The general had sent out about ten men to raid a city, to ashes. My father said the general mentioned the city was full of assassins. But no one knows of the assassin order except the top ranked Elemental users, so I didn't even know about them myself those days. My father explained to me, that assassins were men who targeted Elemental users as kills, for paychecks. They have armor that gives them certain special abilities, and have weapons that can nullify our Elemental powers. Their weapons were often surrounded by the 'Red Lightning Effect', which digs through our Beta and stops flow completely, which would kill the Elemental user. Their blades, bullets, and sometimes even their armor, were all surrounded by the Red Lightning Effect. But I digress, the General wanted my father to take the heat for these ten men. I yelled at him constantly, why did he do it? He only stood their staring at the ground, looking dead inside. At this point, I started to hate this unjustified system. I needed to change the General's mind about my father's path. I got permission to speak to the General, and babbled over and over about how my father doesn't deserve death over something he never did. He didn't listen to me. He kicked me out of his office, and I stood outside his door, emotionally distraught. I wanted to destroy him for this. I walked outside of the Academy, and yelled at the top of my voice, 'You bastards! I swear to ALL of your lives that I will change this corrupt system! I will make anew! No longer shall innocent people be killed for other people's fake injustice! I will destroy the General, with my damn bare hands, and which as he squeezes out his last breath with my hands tightly gripped around his neck, begging for mercy!'
I storm away from the Academy, never to return.
....I feel like i've talked too much, so i'm just going to jump straight to the point. I formed Project Delnine with a bunch of people who were on my side, all powerful Elemental users. We attacked the Academy at the time were the guard shift was the lowest. Eventually, only I made it up to the General's office. Unfortunatly, he wasn't there, so I took a special item from his office. After the attack was over, we made sure there were no surviving guards, then quickly and silently departed from the building. This special item was a small black pearl-like item, which held unknown powers within. I stored this in my stash, for later use. The next day, it seemed like our little General friend decided to send someone after me while I was walking to some ruins to find out about the black pearl. Of course, it was your father he sent. Your father, was actually my Captain at the time. Long story short, we fought a lot, and he used a technique he called 'Seishunn Souls' and suddenly I completely white out. I wake up, who knows how many days later, here. I knew I was in an infants mind. This infant, was you boy."
The Sandman was staring down at me, it looked like he was glaring through his mask. "During your training tommorow... I want you to listen to me a little bit. I will help you gain your sand powers."
"And why should I trust you!?"
"I haven't done anything to lose someone's trust, have I?" I look at him silently. "That's what I thought. Anyways, in return for me helping you, I want you to help me."
"If this is about you taking over, no way. Plus, I won't do any evil deeds for you" I say.
"Evil deeds? Ha... nah... I know you wouldn't do things like this. After all i'm in your mind, in your Beta as a matter of fact. I can't exactly control your Beta or your mind, but I at least know how you feel about certain things."
I look at the Sandman with a raised eyebrow.
"But as I was saying, what I want you to do, is revive my precious Project Delnine. I think this world needs that organization...."
