"I-I totally meant to do that!" I studder out. Sahve looks as if he is trying his hardest to hold in his laugh. He then stands up and walks towards me, with his cloak flowing with the wind element he was surrounding himself with. "Do you see how easily I can control my Beta flow? I do not mean to brag, but I am named number one in Beta control. I guess I am the perfect teacher for you."
"What aren't you good in Sahve? Geez you are making me feel like a loser here." I reply.
"Now now Kiruh, no need to get your panties wedged up your butt. I'm trying to tell you, that you have potential to be even greater than I. That sand element of yours is something."
"That reminds me... really, what is so great about my sand element? I don't see anything that is dangerous about it."
"I'll just say that you can crush your enemies... literally. You can also mold the sand into any shape you wish. I can mold my wind, but only into sharp blades. And I cannot literally make my wind into a blade, like you can with your sand."
"Yeah, but wouldn't it just fall apart after I mold it into something?"
Sahve gets a small grin on his face. "Boy Kiruh, you truly are clueless. Don't you know that Beta makes everything much stronger than it used to be? For example water. Water is normally calm and refreshing. But adding beta to water, can make the water's pressure rise and have it slice through even diamond. That is if you're strong enough."
I sigh and look at the ground. I feel repulsed and angry, yet somehow relieved. If I could control my beta properly, then I could even surpass Sahve, the big man himself.
"Alright!" I scream out. "I'm gonna ace this Beta control, and i'll make sure I am even greater at it than Suiyomi over there!" I run around to get my heart going again. Once my heart is beating fast, I stop and close my eyes. I look out for the blue flame. I search around my head. Soon I see a dim light ahead. I go ahead, hoping it isn't gas this time. I run towards it. It calls me. I can hear something faint calling my name.
"Kiruh... That's what they call us now, huh?"
I gasp, and loose control of myself. I open my eyes and I am suddenly sent flying backwards.
"Ow!" I cry out after hitting the ground hard. I look up and Sahve is in front of me holding his hand out. "Man... I think you grasped a bit too much Beta there!"
"No..." I reply. "I don't think I grasped any Beta that time... it seemed like someone else did it for me."
"Really?" Sahve replies. Well, while we are out here in crazy land, why don't you tell us the story about this person that helped you?"
I just look away and say "Well... he had a deep voice. It was a bit creepy. It sounded as if he was... me. Well not me... but someone just like me. He knew my name. Instead of saying "you", he said "us."
Sahve just looks at me with a serious look on his face. He then helps me up, puts his hand on my shoulder and said, "I think you've stayed inside too long. Seems like you've created an imaginary friend there."
"But he wasn't imaginary!" I yell out. "He was there, I know... that's what sent me flying in the first place!"
Sahve just turns around waving his hand in the air. "Alright alright, let's see if that was Beta your friend really grasped, then. There is no need to get your heart racing anymore, if you have already gotten your first Beta connection. What are you feeling right now, as we speak?"
"I feel... as if some other energy is flowing through my veins. This... is Beta isn't it?" Sahve nods at me. "Well, in order to actually use the energy flowing through your veins, first you need to find out how to send them to certain parts of your body."
