Past Revelations

Kyeru immediately charges towards Zandere and swings his claw towards his throat.  Zandere moves out of the way, and gives Kyeru a black flaming uppercut.  Kyeru grabs on his arm, and scratches into his skin.  Black blood leaks out, but Zandere simply smiles.

Zandere punches Kyeru in the face with his free hand, launching him away.  Kyeru recovers using his wings, but Zandere suddenly blasts himself towards Kyeru through black flames.  He quickly gives Kyeru another punch in the face, but Kyeru keeps his balance.  

Kyeru kicks Zandere in the face, pushing him slightly away.  He then takes in a deep breath, and roars loudly.  Zandere summons a wall of flames to shield the roar, and then blasts the shield towards Kyeru.  He quickly flies out of the way, but Zandere chases faster.

Kyeru has no choice but to turn around and blast fire from his mouth.  But Zandere charges straight through the fire with ease, and delivers a punch to the gut.  

"Seems like my flames work on you now, huh!?" Zandere yells.  He then punches Kyeru in the face, launching him to the ground.  Kyeru quickly flaps his wings to stop himself from falling into the molten metal.  He flies around the room, with Zandere chasing him.  Zandere easily catches up, and swings a right hook towards Kyeru.  He ducks the right hook, and manages to kick Zandere in the chin.  

Zandere grabs onto his foot which is still pressuring against his chin, and tosses him in the air.  "Lion's roar!"

Zandere lets out an even loader roar than earlier, blasting out several black fire sparks towards Kyeru.  

He folds his wings in front of him, hoping to shield most of the attack.  But the attack shreds right through his wings, impacting him hard.  He screams in pain and is launched out of the underground facility.  Zandere flies up to him, outside of the base.  Kyeru is laying in the grass, struggling to get up.

"I've seen my power... now it's time to really get rid of you" Zandere says.

Kyeru stares blankly at the grass waving in the wind.

"Lion's Autocombustione."

Black flames burst from Kyeru's body, causing him to scream in pain.  The flames consume all around his body, and eventually, there is a silence.

Zandere examines the black flames that have consumed around Kyeru's body.  He notices Kyeru's body fall out of the flames, not moving.

"His body is still intact... must be because of his true element's animal... but no matter... it's all over."

"Kyeru..."

"..."

"Kyeru!"

There is a small lawn, and a barn, with a peaceful setting.  The windmill in front blows softly.

"Kyeru!  Wake up, it's time to milk the cows!" a boy yells.

Young Kyeru wakes up to the sound of the boys voice, and looks over at him with an irritated expression.

"Why wake me up for such a stupid thing, Raikami!?"

"Because milking these cows help my father run his farm!  Plus you owe me after helping you get out of that trouble you got into last time!"

"Oh yeah... that... alright, fine.  I'll help you milk the smelly cows."

The two young children get up and run inside the barn, only to notice something horrible.

All of the cows were dead.

"W-what!?  How did this happen, they were fine an hour ago!" Raikami yells in a scared tone.  He runs up to all the cows and examines them closely.  "There are no wounds... and they couldn't have starved or dehydrated!  Just what happened!?"
