Clash of the Squad Captains

Adam starts to show off and twirl around his scythe in a fashionable way.  It looks as if he is swinging around a very large blue sparkler.  He then spins his scythe rapidly in a circular motion upwards in the air, and swings it backwards, melting the area behind him.  He puts a huge smile on his face as he looks at Sahve's grin.

He swings his scythe in front of him horizontally, creating a slash of blue fire, then he slashes the blue fire vertically which launches a cross of hot blue flames towards Sahve.  Sahve raises his hand, gathers wind energy, and slices the fire rapidly, causing it to disperse in seconds.

"Not bad... even when your element is weaker than mine, you can still cancel it out" Adam says.

Sahve jumps towards Adam in a circular spiral with amazing speed, and head butts Adam in the stomach.  Adam opens his mouth wide and gasps for air as he is launched near the seals.

"Careful now... if you go outside those seals, you yourself will be sealed for at least twelve hours" Sahve says as he lands on his feet.

Adam slams the sharp end of his scythe in to the ground and launches himself in the air to get on his feet.

"I really gotta keep an eye out for you... sometimes that speed of yours can get to me" Adam says.

Sahve appears next to Adam in the blink of an eye and sends a slice of wind towards Adam's side.

Adam moves his scythe and blocks the attack without even looking in Sahve's direction.

"It's my turn" Adam says as he pushes the scythe in to Sahve's gut, and launches him away.  Adam lights the scythe on fire and swings it rapidly, sending hundreds, or even thousands of blue fire balls in Sahve's general direction.  I had to jump outside the seal area to avoid, even it if meant getting sealed myself.

Sahve carefully dodges a few of the fireballs, and slices a few with his wind.  But Adam appears behind Sahve in a flash of blue fire, and swings the Scythe at Sahve's neck.  Sahve does a sideways flip under the scythe, narrowly dodging.  It looked like something you would only see in movies.  While Sahve's feet are still off the ground, Adam slams his elbow in to Sahve's stomach forcing him to the ground.  Adam swings the tip of his hot scythe at Sahve's chest, but Sahve launches himself across the grass with wind.  As Adam's scythe hits the ground, he sends a blast of fire across Sahve's remaining wind energy, trailing him.

Sahve slams his hands on the ground to back flip on to his feet, and then he charges a huge amount of beta.  He launches a large beta blast to counter the hot flames, and hit Adam.  However, the flames cancel out the beta blast and continue to head towards Sahve.  Sahve jumps to the right, with the blue flames barely missing him.

"Sahve can't even touch him... is this really Adam's power!?" I think.

Adam appears in front of Sahve and swings his scythe rapidly at Sahve, who has no choice but to dodge the swings.  Adam appears and disappears constantly all around Sahve in flashes of blue flames, making it seem like he is using super speed.  Adam appears to Sahve's left and swings, Sahve dodges.  He appears above Sahve and swings, but Sahve dodges.  It's almost as if it is a one sided battle, with Adam being the only one able to go on the offensive.

Suddenly Sahve turns around, predicting Adam's movements and grabs him with wind.  Adam struggles attempting to escape as Sahve charges a compressive wind punch to his unused hand.  Sahve swings his punch towards Adam who is still helpless.

As Sahve hits, Adam disperses in to blue flames.  Sahve looks completely shocked as he goes straight through the area Adam once was.  Adam's scythe suddenly swings out of nowhere, and appears in front of Sahve's neck.  Adam appears from blue flames as he grabs his scythe, holding it against Sahve's neck.

"Looks like... I won" Adam says with a grin.

--A few minutes later--

"I can't believe you... actually did it" I say in shock.

"You didn't even have faith in your own brother... i'm sad now" Adam replies with a frown.

"Well, Sahve is the strongest captain in the academy!  So I was sure since you are also a Captain, he was stronger than you!" 

"Captain?  Who ever said I was a Captain?" Adam says.

His comment leaves me speechless for a few seconds.

"You... aren't a Captain?" 

"Of course not!  I'm a freaking Colonel!"

I feel a chill down my spine as I hear Adam say this.

"A... colonel!?" 

"You... didn't know he was a Colonel?" Sahve says while walking towards Adam and I.

"You're telling me you knew, and you still tried to beat him!?" I say with shock in my voice.

"I'm a confident guy" Sahve says with a smile.  He looks over at Adam, keeping his smile.  "Looks like you will be teaching him this time around... I guess a colonel would do a better job at this anyway, especially since he is your brother."

Adam gives Sahve a thumbs up and says, "Of course I won't fail you, Mr. Tenaki."

We all notice Suiyomi start to walk in the training field with a confused look on this face.

"Suiyomi!  You're coming with me today.  Kiruh will be doing his own special training with this nice gentleman over here" Sahve says.

"What's going on here?" Suiyomi says in a confused tone.

"Don't worry about that now, i'll tell you as we are doing our own special training."

Sahve quickly runs over to Suiyomi and pats his back, dragging him out of the training field with him.

Adam turns towards me and grins.

"So... what kind of training are we doing exactly, Adam?  I don't think there is much you can teach me..." I say.

"Actually, i'm the only one who can give you this training" Adam replies.

"Only one?  Then what is it exactly?"

Adam puts on a big grin, as he says, "We're going to draw out the Fire Element you have."
